A/n : I won't be writing a special this time but I will give you theses facts about y/n you did or didn't know about. They might be necessary for the story! Don't worry there's no spoilers here:
1. Y/n is the fastest runner in her class if no one uses their quirks. Especially if she's mad/upset. When she was little she liked hanging out with her older cousins, which they (besides Marie and another one) weren't too happy about so they made a deal, if y/n can keep up with them she can play without them complaining.
2. Y/n didn't have many friends after moving to Japan because she'd hang out with Marie when she'd come to visit and because she didn't want to risk people making fun of her since she had a poor understanding of how to talk or understand Japanese. Plus she was quirkless.
3. Growing up, Y/n never told others she was quirkless even if they asked but since she was doing so well in school people assumed it had something to do with being smart so they left her alone ( no bullying! Yay!)
4. Her parents are okay with her not having a quirk, it wasn't uncommon for her dad's family and there are a few in her mom's family too. When she was little they'd try to constantly remind her it was okay and she could still be whatever she wanted if she had the will to do it.
5. Although Y/n was at peace with the fact that she wasn't getting a quirk after a few weeks of that doctor's appointment, she feels guilty about not being able to get a quirk since she's an only child so she tries to make up for it academically.
6. She's much smarter then she leads on to be but she tries to stay average or a little higher to not attract much attention. Dare I say beginner prodigy level..
This doesn't mean she's good at EVERYTHING! She has to study very hard to keep it up.
7. Y/n can't read Japanese very well so she constantly will ask for help when other student's aren't around but now Izuku's her personal dictionary.
8. Y/n's desk is located by the window side of the classroom behind Izuku and in front of Mineta
9. When off guard Y/n spits out random facts
10. Steven was 2 years old when his mother went to the police academy and Y/n had to take care of him for the most part along with her parents.
11. Kirishima has had a crush on Y/n since Middle school
12. Mina has tried to talk to Y/n before U.A (like Kirishima) but never could because she was busy so she's determined to be best friends with her this year.
13.Kirishima had tried to talk to Y/n in the past but back then he was too nervous to approach her directly
14. Will not hesitate to beat the shit out of you if she's put into that position.
15. Y/n's mom is Mexican-American and her dad's Japanese- American.
16. Dad was raised in japan but moved to the US for a fresh start. He was a fresh grad who wanted to see the world basically.
17. Mom was raised in the US in a Hispanic house hold which is why she raises Y/n in a similar way.
18. Dad has a hard time understanding spanish just like his wife struggles to understand Japanese like her daughter.
19.Y/n knows how to speak Japanese, English and Spanish for obvious reasons. If she's freaking out/ confused/ hurt or simple forgot the word for what she wanted to say she will switch between them.
20.was hit by a hypnotism quirk that makes her cry or at least now feel the same feelings she felt when she was told she was quirkless. Voice activated though, it only works when people are yelling angrily. It's less effective if it's not directed at her.
