Eight: Education System Sucks

Someone's POV

""Are you okay? Since you came here you are not talking."

I am now with these idiots. We're eating our dinner.

"I'm fine hehe."

"Your phone."

"Bakit na sayo 'to?"

"Your student gave it to me. Naiwan mo raw sa classroom niyo."

Then everyone became quiet again. Nagpapakiramdaman ang bawat isa. I just rolled my eyes mentally. My fingers are itchy to kill these bastards. I'll kill them one by one.

"Huy New teacher, okay ka lang?"

"Yeah hehe."

"Iniisip mo pa rin ba yung nangyari sa estudyante mo, New teacher?"

"Partly yes. It still haunts me every night. I can't sleep well because of that."

It still haunts her? Target locked. I smirked but I immediately remove it.

Sayang at naunahan ako nung Brent na yun. Edi sana ay ako ang dahilan bakit hindi makatulog si new teacher. I want her to suffer because of me.

I look at these guys one by one. They don't have any idea that I am the predator aiming for a prey, that I am that monster in their shadows.

Just wait kiddos, I'll make you suffer one by one.

'Education System'.

I heaved a deep sigh.

We are currently having an emergency meeting facilitated by university's secretary. I am barely attentive on what is going on because this incident is making my heart burdened.

I am a teacher and I am one of the implementors of this education system. Someone killed herself because of it.

Sigh.

"We aren't going to change anything according to the president of this university. Don't speak about this incident to any one. Gusto rin ng presidente na wala siyang maririnig kung sino man sa inyo na pinag-uusapan ang nangyari." Secretary said. That lady who have curly hair and white complexion.

In other words, they want us to turn a blind eye to what is happening. This place is gross. Nakakasuka.

"Any questions?" She continued.

I raised my left hand.

"Yes, Miss?"

"I want to know what will happen next. What are you going to do about the incident?"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, gusto niyang tumahimik kami, pero matatahimik lamang ako kung malalaman kong may gagawin kayo ukol sa nangyari. This is a serious matter. Someone committed suicide because of our education system."

She laughed. Kumunot ang aking noo. Anong nakakatawa sa tanong ko?

"You really think that this incident is caused by our education system? Are you kidding me?"

I remained silent. Naiinis ako.

"Sinong tanga ang magpapakamatay nang dahil lang sa modules? Sinong tanga ang magpapakamatay nang dahil lang sa exams? Sinong tanga ang magpapakamatay nang dahil lang sa pagpasok sa isang eskwelahan?"

I am wrong that this lady is nice. Akala ko pa man din ay mabait ito nang lumapit siya sa mesa namin nang araw na iyon.

"That dumb you are talking about just killed herself. Tanga nga siya dahil nagpakamatay siya." English teacher barged in into our conversation.
