~I noticed halfway through the story and from your comments that I wrote maid position when I included that both genders (Male and Female) were applying for the job. My bad! I'll be changing that to personal assistant for now on.

After Adonis was out of sight of both Leroy and Derek he started to converse with Emu while walking towards to car.

"I'm beat. I don't get paid for acting here...such a hard life I have." Adonis childishly complained to Emu who was still on top of his head.

["...."]

"Also can you put this backpack into your space, I'll request it back when I need it again."

["On it!"] Emu placed the backpack into his space as Adonis began to talk to Emu again. ヽ(o＾▽＾o)ノ

"But anyways, when we get home lets just relax for a few days before we have to encounter the ML again, when he comes back home in a week or so."

["Master what are you planning to do when you both meet again?"] Emu asked with curiosity.

"Well my little ball of light...it consists of two things: food and uniform." Adonis said with a proud expression

["...You're going to seduce him with food?"] Emu guessed

"...No! Emu how could you betray me like that." Adonis held his heart in anguish.

["Master, I don't understand."] Emu said with a confused expression (・・ ) ?

"I'm just planning to do my job as his babysitter." Adonis answered Emu sarcastically.

["Babysitter? You mean as his personal assistant."] Emu rightfully corrected Adonis.

"Whatever, same thing." Adonis said offhanded ┐(￣∀￣)┌

["...Okay, Master."] Emu agreed reluctantly

The driver, seeing Adonis coming close to the car, went to open the door for Adonis. After Adonis got inside the car, the driver went to his seat, started the car and began driving back to the Ahil household. By the time they arrived it was the afternoon, the driver dropped him off in front of the house. Adonis gave his thanks to the driver and said good night.

After heading inside the house Adonis bypassed the living room and saw Layla and Travis drinking tea with some snacks. Layla who felt someone stare, turned to Adonis location.

"Oh! Ady your back, will you like to join us for some tea and snacks?"

"Layla let him rest, he just came back from outside." Travis told Layla while eating some of the snacks

"U-um, It's okay uncle I don't feel tired. I will join you both." Adonis shyly replied with blushed cheeks.

"Ha! See I am always right." Layla closed her eyes and tilted her head upward in a dignified manner.

"..." All Travis did was flick with his finger on Layla's nose.

"?!" Layla opened her eyes in shock and glared at Travis (◣﹏◢ ╬)

Before Layla could respond or fight back, Adonis sat next to her and comforted her.

"A-aunty, are you okay? U-um, Uncle didn't mean it." Adonis held Layla's hand in his own trying to reassure her and calm her down.

"Oh sweetie I'm okay, don't worry it's just a small fight between siblings." Layla smiled sweetly towards Travis.

'Amen to that smile' Adonis inwardly thought (シ_ _)シ

"...okay then." Adonis doubtfully looked at both Travis and Layla.

Noticing Adonis stare filled with doubt, Travis changed the topic. "So how was your time outside?" Adonis, distracted, began to retell what he did throughout the day, Layla and Travis would comment and nod along as he talked. Once he reached the talk about the forest and the people he encountered. Both Layla and Travis were surprised to hear Adonis say he encountered Leroy and Derek. Knowing from Adonis that they were injured and that he treated them. Travis, without letting Adonis see, sent a message to the family doctor to go over to where Leroy is at and to check if Leroy or Derek needed any more medical assistance.

Both Travis and Layla didn't comment about Leroy or Derek, as they thought that maybe they should surprise both their son/nephew and Adonis when they present them to each other next week. And that way Leroy won't disagree to have a personal assistant, since Adonis treated him, Leroy should return the favor.

After a few hours, Adonis let out a little yawn.

"Sweetie are you sleepy?"

"A little bit." Adonis replied with sleepy eyes

"You look like you're about to fall asleep. Go to your room and rest."

"Alright, *yawn*...good night uncle and aunty." Adonis said softly after yawning（◎'〇｀◎）

"Good night, Ady." Layla smiled and patted Adonis' head.

"Before you go, your uniform will be given to you tomorrow morning. You will also start working on some minimal work. Good night." Travis told Adonis also patting his head

'What's up with people patting my head' Adonis thought to himself as he stood up

Adonis nodded towards Travis' comment and began heading to his room upstairs.
