Hi, I'm Steven the main character of the story. I"ll give you some backstory on why I ended up in this place.
When I was 13 I was diagnosed with Schizophrenia,(why you may ask?) Because I saw the world differently,I could hear distant whispers and echos around the hall. I tried to ignore it but the voices grew louder until I couldn't take it anymore. I went as far trying to cut my own ear to deafen the sounds but my parents stopped me before I could. But as the older I got , my "condition" got worse and I started seeing strange shadows. That's when they were sure it was Schizophrenia, but I knew deep down it was real! They won't believe me! I heard my parents talk about putting me in an asylum if I didn't get any better with my meds. I got scared and immediately tried to mask my emotions.I acted as if I was getting better my parents were relieved but they knew if I were to go to a normal school I might cause trouble.So they found a school that was built for children that had "minor mental illnesses"(not too serious that they weren't taken to a asylum)People who were bipolar,has depression,etc.
I was fine with this arrangement. Actually the voices I heard was almost completely gone and the things I saw I would ignore them. How you may ask? Because I threatened the voices that if they spoke to me I would try and kill myself that way no one will hear them. It somehow worked with the medicine I was taking everything was getting better. But then school came,it was different,cold and lonely.
The atmosphere gave a chill to my spine. And that's when it started.
