"Knew you'd be the one saving me."

"When am I not? Been pulling your butt out of the fire since we first landed on the ground."

Ghost mode initiated I exit the bridge to immediately lock onto the three Disciples stood watching the portal behind us expectantly. Waiting for their team to come back through. Silently Echo, Hope and Gabriel enter behind me. Smoothly ignoring the bridge closing behind me, I move past their astounded faces as Echo, Gabriel, and Hope all disarm the man where they stand.

Yet when I hear a distinctive sound I pause.

"Echo what the hell are you doing?"

"It wasn't me."

That's when I see Hope stood over the body of one of the Disciples. Dead. "Hope", I chastise frustratedly, her wide blue eyes flickering to catch mine "What the hell?"

"Without Orlando, we don't have to take any unnecessary risks" Hope tries excusing it and I can only feel my eyes widening further. She doesn't get it. Killing is a choice and she is making it way too lightly.

Astounded, I question "What're we going to do then? Murder everyone on Bardo?"

"If it comes to it", Hope shrugs, grabbing the conductor's arm and tugging him towards the storage closet Echo's tugged open "Yeah."

Groaning I yank out the knife embedded into the suit, crouching over the second man "Avery stop-"

Gabriel's complaint is cut off when I jam the blade into the neck of the knocked out Disciples "We can't have them crying wolf that a lethal team's entered Bardo." Moving onto the next person I let Echo carry him away, kneeling beside the second "The stone is the only way back to Sanctum, and if this room gets compromised it's going to make a portal link to Sanctum too difficult."

Just as I give the second Disciple a merciful death, Gabriel groans erratically "We drilled for five years. We have thirty minutes to get to the cell block. Get our people and get back here before shift change." Echo and Hope manage to finally get the storage to shut off with a hiss, concealing the bodies "With Orlando opening the doors the best we ever did was twenty-eight minutes. If we don't get stuck at doors we're going to get lost."
