As the lifeguard was walking around the edge of the pool at the end of the day, checking to make sure nothing was left. They were closing up for the day and was the last one there. The big room was silent except for the click-clack of their shoes. It was quite a big room and had a tube slide, a little kid pool, a lap pool among other things. And the lifeguard was by the lap pool when something happened. They found something odd, a thick metal hook that was supposed to be screwed into the inside of the pool. They picked it up and continued to walk around the pool trying to find where it was supposed to go. But all the places for the hooks already had their correct hooks in it. The lifeguard was very confused now so they brought it with them. As they exited the building though they tripped and the metal hook fell out of their swim bag without them realizing. So they continued to walk to their car and drive home, later realizing what might have happened but not carrying enough to go back and get it. The next day though a person walked up to where the metal hook now lay, picked it up, and brought it with them. One more lost thing in the world had been found.
