Twin-tailed wolves made their burrows in certain parts of the labyrinth. Is rare to see a wolf alone because in that situation, they are the weakest of the monsters that roamed the ground. That's why they usually wandered together in packs of four to six. A pack that passed by it was no exception, and it was a group of four.
They walked around the corridors, surpassing and avoiding the rocks, searching for a prey. That type of wolf prefered to hunt with ambushes.
And that's what this wolves were doing, searching for preys. Smelling the ground, hearing their surroudings to try to avoid any kind of dangerous encounter or even other pack. The pack of the wolves had a connection that allowed them to communicate without even making even a noice, like telepathy but not that easy.
But then, one of the wolves could not feel the presence of one of its comrades. The one that should be lurking at the other end of the hall, disappeared without a trace.
Distrustful, the wolf slowly rose to his haunches, preparing for any surprise attack. When suddenly, another of his comrades howled.
The wolf that was impaled in the wall trying to escape, but looks like something was pulling towards the wall, avoiding it to escape.
The two wolves ran towards the wolf to help him. However, the wolf suddenly disappeared.
Confused, the wolves couldn't understand why that was happening. The events that were happening were beyond their comprehension.
They were in a state of pure confussion, every step that they could make may be mortal.
Suddenly the ground began to give way and the walls jumped up to enclose them. They tried to jump, but before they could, the ground beneath their legs rose and hardened around them. Normally, wolves could avoid such shackles. If they hadn't been confused by this unusual situation, they would never have fallen into such a simple trap.
However, their aggressor have predicted their confusion, like their vacillation. That moments of confusion were enough to be trapped. Then they started to howl with rage because they weren't abel to escape.
Wolves: "Graaah?!
Suddenly, the wall swallowed them whole, and only the echoes of their screams remained.
Of course, it were Y/N and Hajime, who had caught the four wolves. Since they decided to attack, they trained even if their bodies wanted to stop. They trained until their bodies gave no more, ignoring the pain and hunger. Well, to be especific, Y/N helped to train Hajime, trying to help him to at least understand the basics of the fighthing. They improved ther speed, accuarcy and range of attack.
They know if they had left in their current level of skill, they will be dead in no time. They made their base where the [Divine Stone] was, and refined the only wepon that they had. And was, obviouslly, the [Transmutation].
Even if they ignored the pain while they were training, it continued to grow over time. But that pain only stimulated their determination, and they pushed themselves even more to improve. Thanks for their exhaustive training, their skills improved faster that they could ever get in the past. It can be because of the environment or because they are in a life or death situation. Where ever was the reason, they result was the expected.
However, their talent with the magic was still mediocre.
Once they decided that they have trained enough, they started to move. Y/N created a little container of stone to save some of the [Ambrosia]. After that, with they wandered, while transmuting, searching for their first target.
That's when they found the wolf pack. After looking at each other and making a malicious grin, they followed them quietly. Of course they were close to being caught, especially Hajime, who had less skill than Y/N; but they transmuted some walls to hide when that happened.
