IVY
I'm all alone.
My dad, on the other hand, went wreckage and drown himself on going to casino and gamble as much as he have. He shot himself in his office after losing all his money and assets for a stupid bet, leaving me nothing even a single cent. Shame on him.
I experienced a lot all because of that man.
No, maybe if he's still alive, I'm afraid I might've experienced worse. That's how cruel my father is.
I used it to pay for my rent and bought stocks of beers and cup noodles.
Death.
That is something I must conquer as soon as possible or else I'll probably lose sanity.
My thoughts were interrupted by a loud ring from my phone. I just stared at it for a long time, hoping the caller would stop immediately.
I sighed and reached for it. The number was unregistered so I'm having second thoughts if i should accept it or not. In the end, I decided to just accept it.
"Glad you accepted the call, iha. I thought it'll took forever for me to call you before you finally answer it," the other line greeted, followed by a soft laughter.
A woman's voice, probably on her thirties and judging by the way she speaks, she came from a wealthy family.
"Who... are you?" I asked, almost a whisper.
"Oh, right. Where are my manners? Anyways, I'm your aunt Rowie. It's been so long since I last saw you. I wonder how have you been. That stupid ass of a brother really did nothing but pains you. Don't worry, iha. I'll be fetching you tomorrow morning so pack up. You're moving in my house."
This woman... is so talkative.
I don't remember my Dad mentioning an aunt Rowie before. Well, he haven't mentioned a single relative to me so how would I know?
I was about to end the call when she called for my name.
"Ivy?"
She knows what my name is...
"Happy birthday," was all I heard from her before she finally ended the call.
Today's... my birthday?
Today's my birthday yet I didn't even remember. Today's the day of my birth yet I'm planning to take my own life. How ironic. I should've never been born.
"GOOD MORNING, Miss Ivy. I am Reign Soleda. I will accompany you on your way to Miss Rowie's house."
He don't look like a bodyguard or a driver. I bet he even look good behind those glasses. And judging by his body built, he must be two years older than me.

Eye love you
HorrorBirthdays are supposed to be fun and memorable, right? Yet I experienced the opposite. It was the most dreadful and unimaginable birthday I ever had. I just hope everything's a dream.
