MERMAIDS OF THE LONELY COAST 2 (THE NEW MOON)

CHAPTER FOUR

Cleo played with the ring on her finger nervously, She didn't know if Dorothy will believe this story after she's told her five false stories, this one sounded like the most ridiculous, but it was the truth, Dorothy had an empty gaze, her expressionless face didn't make it any harder for her, she sigh and prepared herself for trouble, she was always conscious of Dorothy, why did Ruth go make friends with another human?
"Are we going after her?"
"What?"
"We should probably go after her"
"Why would we do such a thing?"
"One because I don't believe that such things like mermaid exist, second there's no place like Lonely Coast, third if Ruth is in trouble, won't she need our help"
"No... she won't, they are stronger than us, and didn't you hear, if the Red moon comes up, we'll be in deep shit, they have to do this on their own"
Dorothy laughed
"To try to sell me such a cheap story.... am going after her, look the tracker is still after her..."
"Why are you doing this?"
"I love a good adventure, I hate lies and I love to find out secrets, if you want to join me to find her, no problem, if you're not going to join me, stay out of my way"

Yeon watch her stroke the dolphins 🐬 as they played around her, she was beautiful and her ocean blue eyes lit with excitement, she was beautiful, he knew why he was feeling this attraction towards her, besides it being mating season, but he knew this wasn't the time for that, she turned towards him and waved, he liked watching her, He didn't want to come close to her because, her mate might be someone else and he hated being rejected, he was sure she would find someone else once they returned to Lonely Coast. She swam toward him arms spread apart, she surprised him by indulging him in a warm embrace, the moment their tail turned and twisted together he felt electric wave shot through out his body, he couldn't move away from her, it felt as though he was glued to her, with the way her body shook, he knew she felt it too. They raised they head to look at each other, he couldn't stop staring into her eyes, it felt like magic, he stroke her face, her hand went into his low haircut, he lowered his face and brought it close to hers, was this happening?
She wanted to kiss him, his gaze was captivating, his aquatic scent assaulting, his strong arms held her like they were afraid to let her go, how did mermaids show feelings, she didn't know whether to kiss him or wait for him to make the move, his head lowered towards hers, but the loud noise coming from the Dolphins distracted them. She turned and gasp in shock Two sharks 🦈 were terrorizing the dolphins, two were already dead, the sharks spotted them and swam towards them, they were hungry and angry
"Stand back Ruth"
Yeon pushed her behind him and looked around for something he could use and fight the sharks, he grab her hand and swam down towards the cave
"Go in and stay in, no matter what don't come out"
He ordered, she hesitated, leaving him alone with two sharks 🦈 🦈 wasn't such a good idea
"Go!!"
He shouted at her, she swam in, pushing her body forward, no shark could enter this cave, the entrance was too narrow, it was even hard for her to enter herself. She peeped through at Yeon, he distracted the sharks, leading them towards another part, she couldn't see anything and couldn't tell what was happening, did he manage to lose them? Did they hurt him? The thought of that made her sick to the stomach, she wanted to go out but kept telling herself to stay in, he had commanded her to do so, she felt like a coward as time passed by, Yeon didn't return and she was here hiding like a scared little girl, if she only had one of those sharp spares that mermaids carried around she would have felt safer, Sharks didn't usually attack merfolks, what was wrong with them?
She was running out of patience and just when she decided to come out, she saw Yeon, he swam into the cave, she helped him pass the entrance, he was injured, but thank goodness it wasn't very deep
"What happened out there?"
"I couldn't fight them, so I had to swim very far away and I lost them, but one of them almost got me..."
He winch slightly as she gently pressed his side
"Sorry..."
"Thank you"
He said staring at her, she paused
"What for? I should be thanking you"
She asked surprised
"Thank you for staying here, I would have been so worried if anything happened to you"
"Thank you for saving me Yeon"
She whispered close to his ear, he touch her hair and they gently bumped their forehead together, the electric wave shoot through their body and she realized that this was the first time they were touching forehead, it meant they were friends and would not harm each other, he surprised her by claiming her lips in a gentle kiss, she wrapped her arms around his neck and deepened the kiss, his teeth were sharper than hers, he gently bit her lower lip, cutting deep into her skin and she felt his teeth pierce through her skin, he just punched her lip. her lower lip was bleeding, that didn't stop them, instead it made her more crazy for him, he lick her wounds and kissed her, she lean closer, and he kissed her neck, trailing soft kissed down to her shoulders, she gasp in shock as he roughly bit her shoulder, she turned and stared at the wound, it healed almost instantly, she should have been worried, but she wasn't, instead she felt okay, better than before and she felt so safe in his arms, he looked into her eyes as if trying to read her, then he kissed her again, their tail twisted together and it felt like they were bound together, she's never felt like this before and it felt Wonderful.

Dorothy loaded her bags into the boat, she managed to convince her cousin Lee to drive the boat and sail with her to a wild search for a friend who is suppose to be a mermaid🧜🏼‍♀️Lee thought she was crazy but he did love adventures as much as she does, she boarded the boat and was ready to leave.
"Dora!!!!!"
She turned back and saw Cleo running towards her, she smiled.
