You turn around in a panic, nobody should know about the rooftop...!
Crunch crunch, you heard the new boy eat rather loudly. "Umai!" He exclaimed as he stared unto the sky, looking like an angel who sat on the top of the rooftop's entrance.
"Rengoku-" You said with a gasp, covering your mouth so quickly that it was more like a slap to your own face.
"Hm?" He looked down as he caught you in his sight. "Oh, hello!" He greeted you with his cheerful self.
"H- hi!" You replied, obvious that you were tensing up. Omg... No wait- What is this situation?
"You seem shocked, are you okay?" He tilted his head. OMFG- No. Calm down.
"Uh- Yeah! I'm okay!" you tried to fix yourself up.
"Hm..." He stared intensely right at you, as if he was examining your whole existence.
"What are you doing...?" you asked, starting to feel uncomfortable, so much so that your hands may have started to shake a little in nervousness.
"You don't seem to be a part of those people!" he relaxed in relief, "Yokatta...! (What a relief...!)"
"Those people...?" you raised an eyebrow in question.
"Yeah." he stood up with his lunch box and jumped from the top of the roof's entrance, which actually looked kinda hot, "Those people who kept screaming... " He prepared himself, "...RAIL ME!" he shouted, quick and simple as if saying 'Umai!'
You turned around to hide your choked laughter, trying not to offend him.
"Ano... (Um...) May I ask for your nama- I mean, name?" He stuttered.
So... I guess he knows English...? Well yeah, you're talking to him. But, he does stutter to Japanese huh? You thought to yourself as you faced him again, I should say some japanese words to help him a little bit then.
"Y/N L/N tomōshimasu. Rengoku da yo ne? Hajimemashite. (My name's Y/N L/N. You're Rengoku, right? Nice to meet you.)" You bowed your head, only to see him trying to hide his shock as you looked up.
"Nihongo-?(Japanese-?)" He asked as you can now see that his eyes had widened.
"Uhh, yeah!" You replied.
"How do you know the language?" He aggressively closed the distance between the two of you. "Do yatte?(How?)" He asked as if he was hungry for answers. "Where did you learn it?"
