It was a starry night, the cars passed at different speeds one after the other, making a multitude of lights blend in with the dark color of the night
- Yin, Yin, Yin!!
The little boy repeated, running and sitting on the balcony of the building.
- Yin, are you mad at me?
Asked worried, seeing that he had not even looked at him. A small pout eventually escaped his lips.
- You don't like me anymore, Yin? - Said, already with tears in his eyes.
- I like, my little monkey.
He replied simply, still keeping his eyes fixed somewhere in that city. A happy smile could not fail to appear on the lips of little War, such words could even be something simple for certain people, but for him, who got a different affection for Yin, it was as if several stars were having a party inside him.
Because even though War was still 9 years old, he knew he felt something special about his friend who was the same age. He don't know exactly what it is but he like it, like to feel all those sensations when Yin look at him, or try to make him laugh and kiss his cheeks when he feels sad.
Yin was without a doubt his happiness, anytime and anywhere.
- Yin?... how much do you love me?
Asked the innocent boy, seeing the other boy look at that immensity of stars and point to some that were above him.
- Count all the stars, the result will be the size of my love.
- But...there are many, there is no way to count.
He spoke a little disappointed, making Yin laugh a little.
Yin calmly turned around facing the smaller one. He crossed his legs and started looking at him, wanting to admire and keep every little expression of the boy.
- There is no way to count, I know, because just as the stars are countless, my love for you cannot be measured by words, numbers or anything else, it is something big, something that I feel but very complicated to explain.
He said, lightly ruffling War's hair, which made the boy look somewhat funny.
- Yin... can you do that lip thing with me?
- What, War?
- Hm, what people do. One of those days was on television. Mom doesn't let me see these things because she says it's inappropriate for my age, but I'm curious, and I ended up peeking out the door. They touched their lips together... mom and dad do the same thing, so...it means it's an act of love, isn't it?
The boy explained, wanting to experience what he had been wondering if it was right or wrong.
Yin didn't know what to say, he just spent long seconds wondering if he really should or not. In his view War is just a child, not that he isn't either, but for his age the boy was somewhat too much innocent.
Yin sighed.
Maybe it wasn't all bad, after all, just touching their lips wouldn't hurt anyone, would it?
- Ok, War, close your eyes. - he asked, watching the boy obey without even contesting.
First, one of his hands had gone to the boy's cheeks, caressing it slightly, while the other had been used to support himself on the floor.
His lips were getting closer and closer to the boy in front of him, until finally, the distance became non-existent.
The youngest's lips were soft, sweet and consequently were cold due to the cold wind that circulated.
Until after such long seconds, he unfortunately decided to part with those lips that made his heart race.
- Yin.
Called the boy, looking away from him because he was visibly flushed.
- Yeah?
- Promise you won't leave me?
Asked with his eyes shining.
- Of course I promise, never never never never leave you.
He spoke with a smile on his lips, pressing the boy's cheeks making him grumble.
- I love you Yin.
