A/N: Time to wrap this story up! Hope you enjoyed the journey.

Eddie sighed contently, burying his face into the pillow, inhaling the intoxicating scent.
He reached out, in hopes to wrap his arm around the owner of the scent.
However, his hand landed on an empty space.
He felt around for a couple seconds, before finally forcing himself to sit up.
His vision was slightly blurry, but he could see well enough to know the bed was empty.
Eddie looked around warily, almost frantic.
Almost.
Surely the angel hadn't left... again.
Surely Eddie hadn't fucked up... again.
One way to find out.
He got out of bed before stretching.
Muscles ached, his back and arms popping as he stretched.
Well. That was another way to assure him that what happened last night was real.
Eddie found his clothes on the floor, then headed to the bathroom for a quick shower.
About 20 minutes later, he was out and dressed.
He took a deep breath, time to confront him.
He left the bedroom, heading down the long hallway.
He slowed down when he heard muffled voices.
Key word: Voices.
It sounded like two, but there could be more.
Eddie's heart fluttered nervously.
Who else could be here? What did they want? What the fuck could he use to defend himself if needed?
Taking a deep breath, composing himself, he walked into the kitchen.
There, two figures sat at a table. One was familiar, the other wasn't.
Familiarity wasn't the problem, however.
It wasn't important of who he was, but What he was.
Eddie was now standing in a room with 2 angels.
'Run.' His every instinct screamed.
Too late. They both had noticed him.
"Eddie, you're awake." Richie spoke up.
Eddie nodded, keeping his eyes on the other angel.
Then, the angel stood.
Eddie was nearly ready to bolt.
"It's okay. He's not going to hurt you." Richie comforted, but hadn't stood to stop either of them.
'Yeah right.' Eddie said inwardly.
The angel was now inches before him.
Eddie waited.
"Hello Edward Kaspbrack." The angel extended his arm to him, offering his hand.
Eddie glanced down at the hand, then back up to his eyes, then over to Richie, before focusing back on the other angel again.
He hesitantly took his hand, shaking it lightly.
The angel's hand tightened on his, and Eddie could feel a rush of energy go through his body.
He wanted to pull away, but found himself rooted to the spot.——————————————
Richie watched the silent standoff between angel and demon.
He was well prepared, in case his fellow angel decided to pull something.
After a good 10 minutes, the angel pulled back, taking a couple steps away from the demon, before glancing back at Richie.
"Hmm. He wasn't lying, you have done well." The angel said, focusing on Eddie again. "Okay. I have been requested to come down to give you a deal."
Eddie was quiet but slowly nodded.
The angel looked back at Richie again, before turning to Eddie again, "Because of your... alliance, we have come to give you a second chance." The angel said.
Richie's heart fluttered at that.
Eddie remained quiet, confusion clear on his face.
"I will give you a year to prove yourself. You must not commit any crimes or sins. Do that, and we will grant you wings."
It was silent for a long time. Both at a loss for words.
"Do you understand?" The angel spoke up again, making Eddie jump.
He nodded quickly.
It was silent for a few minutes before the angel backed away, turning to Richie.
"Are you coming home now?" He asked.
Richie gave him a look, before glancing at Eddie.
He could feel both of their hearts dropping at the thought.
Finally, he took a deep breath, focusing on his fellow angel, "I think I'll stay a little longer."
The other angel nodded, as if expecting this answer.
Without another word, his wings burst free and he vanished in a light glow.
It was silent for a long time.
Eddie broke it by letting out a deep breath, "Shit. I think my heart just stopped for a few minutes."
Richie couldn't help the smile that crossed his face, before standing, closing the distance between them.
He helped him come through his partial panic attack.
"Don't worry. I doubt they'd bring you back just to kill you again." Richie said.
Eddie chuckled, "Don't give them any ideas."
Richie caressed his cheek, staring into his chocolate brown eyes.
"Sooo..." Eddie drawled out, "What now?"
Richie sighed, smiling, "I'll let you decide."
Eddie smiled, before pulling Richie down, lips claiming his in a chaste kiss.
It took him by surprise, but he wasn't complaining.
The kiss lasted a couple seconds, before pulling away.
They still remained close.
"I've decided..." Eddie started, caressing the Angels cheek, "That I love you, and I want to go wherever you go."
Richie felt his heart flutter.
How did this happen?
How did they get here?
Answer? He didn't care.
"Well. I was thinking, you show me all those places you were talking non-stop about. While I'm here." Richie suggested.
He could practically see Eddie's eyes light up as a smile widened.
"I'd love to."

A/N: I'm sure the ending was a bit anticlimactic, but... it was time to wrap it up before it never does. Don't worry. A possible future reddie idea is in the making. I hope you enjoyed.
