"Wait what?" Jamie screeched. I winced as her pencil came into contact with the table, hoping she didn't fracture the lead.

"Yep I write online." I replied "I'm popular too!" Yes it was shocking to them that I, Hailley G. The most
technology challenged person ever had some what of a secret life online, much less that I was a semi-respected author with multiply different accounts on various fanfiction sites, wattpad being my personal favourite.

"No way whats your pen name?" Sydney asked as she made a move to pick up her phone.

"Nope I'm like a ghost writer...I stay anonymous" I waved my hands as I said my words using some sort of strange foreign accent.I Laughed and continued my work well aware of my firends reactions. Lizzy sat shocked as Brianna shrugged and went back to her work. Kyra laid her head on the table barely listening.

"Dude whats your pen name? " Lizzy asked her voice high and her pen raised.

"Like I said mate ...Anonymous And I plan to stay that way!" I smirked I was good at keeping secrets. I was not however a good actor and to be honest I was kinda surprised that they didn't find out sooner. In the end it was my own fault with one foolish slip of the tongue leading to my ultimate demise.

"Dude seriously" no joke I swear I saw smoke coming out of Lizzy ears.

"Seriously" I once again smirked as I knew I had won.

"Im gonna find out who you are...you know that right?" Scratch that Lizzy was in the lead.I knew very well that she would stop at nothing to get my name. I aloud a lazy grin to grow across my face as I attempted to keep my cool. 'They wouldn't be able to find me they dont know my pen name' the thought was comforting to me.

I watched as kyra allowed her head to hit the table clearly not paying attention and clearly in pain...yep concussions will do that to you. I turned back to Lizzy

"Its a nickname I used to have ...back at that Catholic school I went to...you wouldn't know it." I said proudly hoping that would be enough to throw them off.

"Is there a number in it"

"..."

"There is totally!" Jamie and Sydney said in almost perfect unison each of them grinning like mad.

"What no" shit they were gonna find me out. Curse the strange and semi magical powers of friendship!!!

"56"

"No"

"83"

"No"

"13"

"..."

"Thats it"

"Thats totally it."

"DAMN it all to hell" I banged my fist on the table causing a loud thud to echo in my ears.

"Fine fine we will leave you alone." Lizzy muttered as she stood up from the table and sat down on the counter in front of the windows. She taped on her phones screen and silently grinned to herself.

"Lizzy what are you doing?" Her evil grin grew and my face went white. Oh. God. No.
