Chapter One

"Miss Rodriguez,please could you stay behind.",the teacher,Mr Harding,said once the bell rang.

"What do you think he wants?",Alexa Brune asked to her friend,Ariana Rodriguez,whilst packing up.

"I don't know but I don't think I'm in trouble.",Ariana replied whilst also packing up.

Before Alexa left the room she sent Ariana an encouraging smile.

Ariana nodded.

"Now,Miss Rodriguez,I have something really important to tell you.",Mr Harding said.

'I wonder what it is?',Ariana thought,'Is it because of my grades?Or is because of that one time where I invited the headmaster,Mr Garcia,to my apartment and he got drunk?Or is it the other time where I made the first years go to London and shoot-'

Ariana was cut off from her thoughts by Mr Harding speaking.

"You will be given an assignment along with Mr Coleman to retrieve the stolen microchip."

'Oh no!This is bad!This is very,very bad!',Ariana thought.

James Coleman was the school residents 'prince'.All the girls,apart from Ariana,swooned over him and all the boys admired him.

"Do I have to,Sir?I would rather work with a piece of dung than work with an arrogant 'prince' like him.",Ariana whined.

"You will have to do this assignment with Mr Coleman otherwise I will tell your parents about how you got the headmaster drunk,Miss Rodriguez.",Mr Harding threatened.

"How did you know?",Ariana asked.The only person that knew (well,she thought knew) was Alexa.

"I have my ways.",Mr Harding said with a smirk,"Now,is that a deal?"

"Yes,Sir.",Ariana said grudgingly.

"Fantastic!",Mr Harding said.

"Sir,could I ask a question?",Ariana asked.

"You just did,but yes you can.",Mr Harding said.

"Why do you wear a bow tie?"

"Because,bow ties are cool!"

Ariana looked at her teacher in disbelief.

She just shook her head at his answer.

"You may go now.",Mr Harding said.

Ariana nodded and let the room.

Outside,waiting for her,was Alexa.

"So,what did he want?",she asked.

"Just wanted me to do an assignment with him.",Ariana with venom in her voice.

Alexa knew who she meant when she said him.

"You lucky thing!",Alexa squealed,"You get to work with the prince!"

"More like the prince of mud."

"Stop being so negative!Pretty soon,you are going to fall for him."

"That's really cliche like."

"That's what makes romance good.The cliches.",Alexa said dreamily.

"Stop with the romance.You're going to make me puke."

"You and James are going to have kids.Dibs on being the godmother!"

"Look,I'm not going to fancy him let alone marry him."

"I know when I see romance and I can tell that your relationship with him is a love/hate one."

"I'll fancy him when hell freezes."
