Izuku's alarm blared loudly in his ear, the incessant beeping causing him to groan as he pushed his head underneath his pillow. When that did nothing to stop it, he reached out towards the nightstand for the alarm and grabbed it, before chucking it into the open closet and praying that he could sleep in more.

His prayers were for nought when Naomasa-san came into the room and grabbed the alarm. Although he turned it off, the detective set it down on the nightstand before sitting on the edge of Izuku's bed.

"I know you're awake," the older man said, "so please don't waste time and get ready. Your appointment is in less than an hour and Nezu will kill me if you're late."

Izuku grumbled under his breath, slipping his head out from underneath his pillows to glare at him. "Well, then you get eternal peace and I get to sleep in longer. Sounds like a good idea to me."

Naomasa-san sighed before pulling the blanket off of him. "I'm serious Izuku. Come on. You can even wear that hoodie you like."

That got the younger to perk up. A week after he had moved in with the detective, they went clothes shopping and Izuku fell in love with this pull-over hoodie with the design of a skeleton with roses growing within its ribcage and inside its skull. Izuku really doesn't know why he chose it out, but he liked it a lot, plus it was something different that wasn't a weird t-shirt or hero merch.

Naomasa-san didn't like him wearing it all the time, so they restricted that a bit. He couldn't help it though! It was so nice, and soft, and comfy. The only reason he had to stop wearing it was that he tried wearing it for days at a time instead of trying wearing any of the other clothes Naomasa-san got him.

Izuku sighed and pushed himself up from the bed, now looking at the already dressed man in front of him. "Fine, I'll get ready."

The detective grinned down at him. "Thank you! Remember, forty minutes. I'll go and make breakfast."

And with that, he left, leaving Izuku to grumble to himself. He pushed himself out of bed and lifted his arms towards the ceiling, stretching his back and sighing as the satisfying cracks made his back feel more relaxed than it was. He looked down at the clothes he slept in. The Present Mic themed pyjamas were now a favourite of his, replacing the older All Might ones that he used to own.

With a yawn, he went to go get ready.

He's been living in Naomasa-san's apartment for a little over a month by now. They had cleaned out the guest room and replaced the queen-sized bed with a twin and got a few knickknacks to put around the room. Now he had a few posters from heroes who he found out were better role models than the number one hero.

Miruko, for one, mainly because of how passionate she is as a female hero, though he doesn't really appreciate the costume that the hero costume manufacturers made for her. She was brave, brash, and fully prepared to take down anything that was in her way. She wasn't known for thinking before moving, but it's what made her appear so high in the charts.

Another was Eraserhead, for a clear reason. He fought quirkless most of the time since his quirk wasn't something physical, so he was a bit of a role model when Izuku was younger. Although most people didn't know about his existence, he was a huge part of Izuku's motivation now. He was just proof that someone with a non-combative quirk could actually become a hero.

The last was of Present Mic, purely because of how sunshiney and bright he was and the fact that he always made sure to put kids at the top of his priority when it came to charity and other donations. Izuku has seen him donate to multiple orphanages within the time of a month, each donation being over 10,000 yen.

Izuku went into the bathroom to try and fix his hair, grabbing his comb to try and flatten it a bit. Within seconds, the comb was stuck in his hair with no way to get out. He sighed. Of course, this would happen. He would have to ask for a brush or leave-in conditioner, or something that would allow him to comb through his hair without any problems.
