Chapter 19

George pov:

"Alex?" I had walked to the library, Angelica had never mislead me before and I was scared. I saw her. She was sitting with Malfoy. No, not with Malfoy, on Malfoy. She was curled in his lap asleep. I walked over.

"Get your slimy hands off my girlfriend you snake." Alex shifted and snuggled more into him.

"Why Weaselbee? Just because I actually care about her and notice when she's acting weird? You just want to get in her pants."

"Take that back."

"Why should I? I'm simply telling the truth. You don't love her, but I do."

"What's going on?" Alex shifted and rubbed her eyes. My eyes were burning while I tried to hold back tears.

"We're over." I stomped away with tears rushing down my face. I can't believe her.

Alex's pov:

"What?" My eyes started to pour. I tasted salty tears in my mouth.

"That prick." Draco scoffed. He was the reason, wasn't he? I got up and ran out.

I ran outside to the womping willow, dad had told me stories about planting it and how if you hit a certain root the limbs wouldn't swing and it led to the shrieking shack. I had only been there once before, after Ginny went missing the year before. Ginny was like a little sister. I hit the root and crawled through.

A/N: I don't have the book or the movie with me right now so I will definitely get the lines incorrect during this next section. I'll probably just rewrite this entire scene to fit this story.

Lupin's pov:

I burst through the doors to see the trio with Sirius. Sirius turned to me and smiled.

"Moony!" He ran toward me and hugged me.

"Not now Padfoot." I turned. "Ronald, may I see your rat for a moment?" Ron was shaking.

"No! Stop trying to hurt Scabbers!"

Sirius cackled. "Scabbers! Oh Peter you tricky little rat. Give him here." Wormtail jumped from Ron's hands and tried to scurry from the room. The door slammed open, knocking Peter into Siris's feet. He grabbed him tight. I looked to the door and saw Alex with tears flowing down her face.

Alex's pov:

"What the bloody hell?"

"Alex you need to get out of here." Professor Lupin tried pushing me from the room.

"Alex? Alex! Alexis!" I heard a man. I looked to him and saw him. Sirius Black. I pushed against Lupin.

"You. You murdering arsehole!" I drew my wand. He dropped the rat he was holding and looked confused. The rat scurried away.

"Alexis, you don't understand-"

"I understand completely. You killed Peter Petigrew and let you-know-who kill Harry's parents!"

"No I didn't! Please, dear, listen to me!" He had tears in his eyes.

"Don't call me dear! Petrificus totalis!" He dodged my spell and I felt my hands being held behind me. "Get your hands off of me!"

"Please, Alex, just listen. I was framed. It was Pettigrew. He sold out Lily and James and killed those muggles. He cut off his finger and apparated so it looked like he had blown up. That's why the rat was missing a toe." I looked at him, I truly wanted to believe him. I took a step forward.

"Truly?"

"Truly." I started to cry. I flung myself into his arms. He started to cry too.

"What is going on here?" I heard dad from the doorway. "Get your hands off my daughter!" He grabbed my arm and flung me out the door. I fell on my butt. I heard jinxes flying back and forth. I banged on the door but I couldn't get in. Someone was blocking it. That was until someone opened the door and I was flung against the wall. My head hit the wall hard and I blacked out.

Siris's pov:

I grabbed Alex and ran out the door with her, Remus running behind me with Snivelous. Of all people, she had to be raised by that grease ball. When we got outside Remus dropped Snivelous and started to convulse. I looked up and saw the full moon.

"Harry! Please, make sure she is safe. Take her to the hospital wing for me." I turned into my dog form and ran toward Moony and fought him away from the kids.
