The Plan.

Remus was walking down the corridor, his head filled with regret from what he said earlier. His mind kept repeating the image of Sirius' hurt expression.

Remus turned around a corner and came face to face with a short, black-haired boy. "Sirius!"

Sirius looked up. "Ah! I'm so glad I found you."

"So am I."

"I've been looking for you everywhere."

Remus was about to apologise but stopped dead. "You were?"

"Yes. I need to talk to you."

Remus looked down at his feet. "Me too."

"OK, well-"

"Wait, me first. Look I'm sorry about yesterday, I just-"

"It's fine."

"What?"

"I said, It's fine."

Remus looked at Sirius in shock. "It is? But I was pretty obnoxious..."

"Yeah, but I know it's the full moon soon... So, it doesn't matter."

Remus nodded and smiled, thankful for his friend's forgiveness.

"Anyway. About why I was looking for you. I think I've found a way to stop those girls from chasing me."

Remus sighed. Sirius plotting anything wasn't a good idea. He knew that from the number of Sirius' pranks that ended up in detention.

"You have?"

"Yep." Sirius stood up straight and crossed his arms.

"Go on then..."

"I need to pretend that I'm dating someone."

Remus looked at him questioningly. "Alright. And that involves me, how?"

"Welllll... for it to be convincing, I'll have to be in an actual fake relationship-" Remus' stomach tightened "-not just make some person up... so..."

Remus didn't even think before he answered, "No." Sirius looked dejected. "No, absolutely not."

"Come one Moony. Pleaseeee?"

"No! Sirius, why can't you just ask Marlene or some other person? Why me?"

"Because, if I ask a girl they'll think it's just temporary and that they still have a chance. But if they think I'm gay..."

Remus shook his head. "You're crazy."

"What? You're perfect for it. The whole school knows you're bi anyway, so it wouldn't cause any problems for you." This was true. Remus came out as bisexual to everyone in the 4th year. "Plus," he said, looking at Remus with his most convincing face, "there's no one I'd rather have as my fake boyfriend." Sirius nudged Remus playfully in the arm and smiled.

Remus melted on the spot at this. Maybe it wouldn't be too bad.

"Fine..."

"Yesss!"

"But... I want two FREE bars of chocolate from Honeydukes and a lifetime of I-Owe-Yous."

"Done and done," He said, beaming. Sirius wrapped his arms around Remus, squeezing him tight. It was a short hug but made Remus tingle all over just the same.

"Thank you Moons."

"I better not regret this."

"You won't."
