Kenshin Himura is the only son of Akira and Sylvia Himura. He has a big sister named Sakura. His mother Sylvia was an American woman that is the 2nd child of Vince and Linda McMahon. She was disowned by her family after decided to marry Akira. After knowing about this, Kenshin made a vow to avenge his mother.

Kenshin grown up as a great fighter. He always won all the kickboxing competition that he joined. When he was 16 years old, his father died in a car crash on his way back from work. After graduated from high school, he joined New Japan dojo to train as a wrestler and MMA fighter. After a year, he was sent to UK for training excursion at RevPRO. Once he returned, he developed a character as a Rōnin and used Hitokiri Himura as his ringname where he just destroyed all opponent. 4 years in New Japan, he was a 3 times IWGP Heavyweight Champion, 3 times G1 Climax winner and 2 times New Japan Cup winner. He and some of his friends; Maeda Bitou, Eiji Serizawa, Ryosuke Takeda, Shou Izaki, Shinji Taiga and Tenzou Senju created a stable where they do anything to win that was called ANBU (Ansatsu Senjutsu Tokushu Butai) They managed to make ANBU as the no.1 stable in New Japan Pro Wrestling. The story begins when New Japan Pro Wrestling and WWE made a collaboration begins with 2019 Royal Rumble.
