CHAPTER THREE: Camp Half-Blood

"Malcolm, it's time to switch with Lee for his hour you may go to sleep, you'll need your rest. I will show Alyx to her cabin." Chiron said to Malcolm.

"Yes, Chiron." Malcolm said and kept his helmet at his side as he nodded at Chiron, glared at me, and walked past us.

It was a bit hard to walk in the dark, but Chiron made sure I didn't trip and I was still following as he led me to Cabin #11. "Malcolm is a child of Athena, so he's very upfront about everything." Chiron assured me.

I shook my head, "I've met Athena, she's very direct so I wouldn't expect nothing less from a child of Athena."

The Hermes cabin and knocked on the door, "we'll talk tomorrow morning Alyx, it's almost curfew, Connor will get you situated and here is a bag of some clothes that your parent gave me." He said and handed me a small black backpack; it was probably Zeus.

A boy opened the door and peaked his head out, "oh Chiron! Hello," he said and Chiron smiled, "hello Adrian, where is Connor? This is Alyx she'll be staying with you for the night." I smiled at him when he turned to look at me and his eyes widened and he blushed a bit, "hello, you can come in." He said shyly, he opened the door wider and I stepped through, "goodnight Alyx, goodnight Adrian." Chiron said and trotted back to wherever he was sleeping.

Adrian led me to a bed in the far corner, past many kids sleeping in their bunks, and mine was right next to the bathrooms. I thanked him and he blushed and stuttered out a you're welcome as he practically skipped down the aisle back to his bed.

I had put my backpack down when the boy's bathroom door opened and a teenager walked with him drying his hair with a towel, he was tall and had blue eyes and brown hair, he was a wearing a white tank top with some black shorts. His eyes landed on me passing by and then he stopped and walked backwards to face me.

He smiled, "hey, I'm Connor Stoll, who are you?" He asked as he held out his hand, "Alyx Smith," I said as I put my hand in his. We shook and let go, "so Hermes kid?" He asked and I shook my head, "Apollo, Chiron just stuck me here for the night since the Hermes cabin is apparently up right now and not very busy," I smiled and he also smiled, "well you've probably had a long day. Goodnight Alyx," he walked away as I heard him mumble, "glad she's not my sibling."

I chucked and shook my head.

I walked into the bathroom and shut the door, locked it too. I stripped my clothes off and before I stepped in the shower I noticed a scar on my leg, it wrapped around the front half of my thigh to the back, I looked in the mirror, on my tiptoes, to see it better, it was just a long, thick scar that was paler than my skin tone. I can't believe I didn't notice it before. How did I get this scar? 

I looked at the rest of my body and noticed I had more, one wrapped around my rib towards my lower back and I had one small one on the back of my shoulder. I hummed quietly and shook my head.

I'll ask Zeus about it later I thought as I stepped into the shower.

I put on a sports bra with a large black shirt over with some pajama pants, after I had dried my body and my hair with the towel Connor had left me. I walked out of the bathroom and bumped into Connor, "oop sorry, I was just coming to check on you." He said and steadied me and I smiled, "thanks," he nodded, "lights are out in five minutes," Connors voice echoed throughout the cabin.

"My brothers already asleep so you can meet him tomorrow," he said.

"Get comfy and your sheets are already on your bed to be warm, it's getting into summer, but it's still pretty chilly especially at night. If you need anything, my bunk is at the very front, so unless you want to trip don't come." I chuckled and nodded my head, "thanks for the tip."
