"I'm sorry yaku, but I just can't wrap my head around it!"
Kuroo had been venting to yaku on the phone for 40 minutes now. He needed help on figuring out what he was feeling and knew that yaku once had a girlfriend so maybe he could help.
"Let me get this straight, the scheming and smart captain can't tell if he likes this girl or not? And he came to me for help?"
" Yaku, it was either you or Yamamoto.." Kuroo sighed. "And I know I like her. I just don't know if I like her." Kuroo leaned back on his soft comforter and stared at the ceiling.
"Well, what do you like about her?" Yaku asked and heard Kuroo chuckle through the phone.
"The real question is what don't I like about her. I like everything! At least everything she's shown me..."
"Who are we talking about again? You never really told me."
"L/N Y/N and-"
"Holy- y/n?! The babe, y/n??" Yaku started to fawn over you through the phone.
"Don't call her a babe! She's more than that." Kuroo groaned and Yaku laughed.
"Well of course she is if she caught your eye! She's so pretty and smart, but really shy in class. How'd you two even become friends?"
"I saw her practicing guitar one day after school... And I was really amazed by it. And she isn't shy once you get to know her." Kuroo thought about all the times you were obnoxious around him or just lost all common sense. "Nope, not shy at all. She's like.... Perfect.."
Kuroo smiled at the thought of you.
"But?"
"She has a boyfriend, and it seems preeetty serious." Yaku clicked his tongue.
"I think you should tell her how you feel and just get the rejection over with, in that case."
"But I don't know how I feel, yaku! I called you for help figuring all that out!"
"Listen, you like her company and think she's perfect. I wouldn't call it love just yet, but you for sure feel a certain way about her. What's the worst that could happe-" Yaku stopped for a second.
"You still there?"
"Sorry, I've got to go. But if you want my honest opinion, I'd say to act now or not at all. Bye." Yaku hung up and left Kuroo alone to think about the conversation.
Not love yet? Maybe I should just wait... I don't wanna act to soon. Besides, she's already taken.
Kuroo rolled on his side. He decided to keep his feelings to himself, and that if anything happened between you and Iwaizumi then he would tell you. If not, then he'd just bury his feelings deep, deep down.
Vrr! Vrr!
"What the... Oh yeah, Kenma.." Kuroo grabbed his phone to see a new message from Kenma.

Kuroo felt his face heat up. You won him something? He tapped the photo and smiled. The photo was of you holding a big plush tiger over your head with one hand. The other hand in the shape of a claw as you snarled at the camera.
Kuroo chuckled in a deep, smooth voice.
"Thanks, kitten..."
