One shot

It was the last day of school, now the summer break was about to begin. The sun was shining like never before, giving the first sign of summer. The seven friends were sitting together in a coffee shop, talking, laughing, and probably annoying other customers, but they couldn't care less. They were discussing what they were going to do on a break. They all wanted to spend it together since they had planned it a long time ago.

All they needed to think of was a place. And when the two girls, Jessi and Layla wanted to go on the beach, the rest of the group wasn't keen on spending their holidays lying on sticky sand. So when Hoseok, Jessi's boyfriend, suggested going camping somewhere in the mountain's forests, the group agreed without a second thought.

They were currently in the car of Namjoon, their so-called leader. Fortunately, all seven of them were able to fit, Namjoon and Jin, the always fighting pair, in front, sitting on the driver seat and shotgun. Two mostly quiet ones - Jimin and Yoongi, in the middle of the car, one staring into the passing view, thinking about god knows what, the other listening to music while reading a book. Then at the end of the car sat the holy trio, Hoseok, Jessi, and Layla, forever laughing, probably never serious about anything.

Suddenly the car stopped. Everyone jumped from their seats, immediately looking at Namjoon, who had a position of god of destruction in the group. The blonde boy lifted two of his hands showing his innocence. Jin was the first one to look around the place they had stopped at, with fear slowly rising in him, he found out they were in the middle of the forest, probably a good 100 miles away from the nearest highway. After all, they were supposed to spend this week alone.

After about an hour and a half, Namjoon along with Yoongi discovered something broke up in their car. The two boys were pacing nervously, knowing that the flaw wasn't the one to be easily fixed, they needed at least 3 days to repair the car, but without the tools, it could take even more than a week.

While delivering the news to the rest of the group, they started thinking about their next step. They chose to let the two boys stay close to the car, while the others will search the area.

After what seemed like an hour, they came back with the great news that could save them. Hoseok and Jessi found this, what looked like an abandoned small house, maybe a mile or two from the place their car stopped working. They decided to give it a shot, leaving the car behind to inspect the cottage.
The wooden house didn't look that bad. The windows weren't damaged, the same with the floor or walls. When all of them stepped on the porch, Hoseok with confidence pushed the door, which surprisingly opened with a loud creak and rushed inside.

"It looks better than I thought." the red-haired said while walking through the living room stopping exactly in the center. He watched as his friends made their way into the house looking around, searching for any kind of danger. There was none.

"We may actually stay here while you two will repair the car or we can camp here." proposed Layla. It wasn't that stupid idea. All of them preferred to stay close to the house than in the middle of an unknown forest. Also, there was a chance someone may find them here.

"Yoongi, check if there's a signal. " Namjoon ordered, leaning closer to hug still panicking Jin. The brown-haired boy relaxed a little bit in his boyfriend's arms.

"None, same with electricity." the older, mint-haired man said looking at the pair. He wasn't really into relationships, yet sometimes his heart flattered at the thought of having that special bond with someone just like Namjoon and Jin. Of course, since he's the cold one of the group, he won't admit it.

As they had planned, they stayed in the house. The only thing they did was take their bags and sleeping bags with them and set up a camp near the cottage. They decided to light up a campfire and just sit around talking, trying not to think about the damaged car waiting to be repaired.
