As the old man got off the train he didn't realize that he had left an old metal tin that he had found under the seat of the plane. He took it with him and then tried to give it to the plane workers but they didn't want it and told him to put it in the trash. And he was going too but he forgot as he got off the plane. So it stayed in his jacket pocket even when he went on the subway in New york. He got on the train and as he stood up and as everyone was bumping each other trying to get off the train the metal tin fell out and landed on the seat where he had been sitting. Then the next load of people came on the train and one of them sits down in the same seat as the old man. They see the tin and pick it up. They ask around to see if it is anyone's. It is not. So they went to see if the train workers could put it in the lost and found but as the plane workers they said to just put it in the trash, but this person was different, special, they were a collector of sorts. They were a collector of lost things. So they took the metal tin with them in their brown leather bag. One more lost thing in this world had been found.
