The Ending of an Era

Steal me away

Seal my tomb

Let my air be stale by end of day

Let the granite seal my doom

Leave flowers on my grave

Dear one don't weep

Show me that you're brave

Even after I've been forced into eternal sleep

Live for me

And accomplish what I was to weak to do

I shall always give you company

No entity could stop me from protecting you

And when your lungs fail

And your heart beats its' last

When you have told your final tale

When you become a being whose purpose is to everlast

The end of eras shall come and go

Still we shall observe

A world filled with joy and woe

Eternal judges through time

And when the last thing dies

We shall put the chairs on the table

Turn off the lights

And lock the universe behind us

That shall be the final era

And we will be there to witness it

Just like we did before
