Chapter 6

Next week was rather calm. Most of the second years seemed to be excited for an upcoming announcement as the principal said. Talking about the principal, she told me that I have until the end of the day to choose a club. I have no idea about the clubs here. Oh wait, I'm pretty sure that the girls are in a dance club! And the boys are in the basketball one.

Right now, I'm heading toward my science class with Ino and Kiba beside me.
The teacher is still not there.

I parted ways with my friends and went toward my desk to find Sasuke already there, looking out the window. I put my bag on the desk and grinned.

"Wassup Uchiha."

Since that day at Hinata's and Neji's, we both agreed to never talk about it again and forget it.

The ravenette turned his head toward me and muttered a "Hi."

Better than nothing right?

I sat down beside him and took out my stuff. The teacher arrived and gave us a paper.

"Dear class, you'll have to present me and your fellow classmates a project in two weeks. It can be anything you want, but it has to be related with what we've seen in class the last few months. The grade will count as 60% of this semester's score.

Most of the students groaned but I simply mentally shrugged. That's cool if we can do whatever we want.

"Another thing, you have to work in pairs. And no Naruto, you can't choose. I already made the groups." Orochimaru sensei smiled.

"Eh? Already?" I muttered.

"Your partner is the one you're seating next to. Now you can discuss with your partner what you both will do." He said and sat down to his desk to continue on his experiments.

I mentally sighed. Can't be that bad, right?

I turned my head to see Sasuke already staring at me. I gulped and scooted my chair closed to him.

"Well then, partner. Do you have any idea on what we could do?" he said while taking out a notebook and a pencil.

I crossed my arms on my chest and thought about it.

"We could do.." I started.

"A volcano!"

"A rocket."

We both said our ideas at the same time. I scratched my neck with a small smile. "Sorry. What did you say Sasuke?"

"A rocket. We could do a rocket. What about you?"

"Well, I said a volcano."

"Oh. Not quite the same thing."

"That's for sure." I chuckled.

He started to write down our two ideas. "Let's think about other ideas in case someone is about to do the same as us." he added.

I nodded and continued my search for our project.

We had a good list of ideas and just after Sasuke finished writing the last ideas we had, the bell rang meaning the end of the fourth period of the morning.

"Lunch time!" I said with a big smile.

I quickly grabbed my bag and Sasuke's hand before dashing out of the classroom.

"O-Oi! What are you doing Shiemi?" he frowned with a small blush.

"Hurry up I heard that today we had some sushies and my favorite dessert! I don't want to miss out!"
