Chapter 1

Another day.

Kihyun woke up to the sound of jumping from the upstairs and it made him feel like the roof might break. His kids just never learn to quiet down after a night of poker.

He removed the blanket and rushed upstairs.

He wasn't sure what he was going to see, but the sight in front of him had him feeling like he was dreaming.

Hoseok, Changkyun, Hyungwon and Jooheon were holding hands, spinning in a circle where a picture of pizza was in the middle.

They were chanting some sort of song and Kihyun was puzzled on what's going on.

"Wh— What are you guys doing?"He asked but he already knew the source of the problem.

They all stopped spinning and looked to their dad.

"Minnie said—

"Woah! What is going on here?"Minhyuk walked in, faking a yawn and a cough."What's this ritual about?"

Kihyun turned to his oldest and cocked a brow,"As if this isn't your doing. What did you fool them with?"

Hyungwon sulked all of the sudden and slipped his hand out of Hoseok's,"So the pizza in the picture won't come to life and this was a lie?"

Minhyuk tried to keep the snicker in but he couldn't help but let it slip.

"You guys could've ordered pizza?"Their dad looked at the clock in the room and noticed it was 5 A.M. Were his kids up that early or did they stay up all night?

"But the pizza store is closed."Hoseok looked down in sadness and it made Kihyun sigh out of frustration.

He didn't know what he could do in this situation. It was 5 in the morning, he has tired, and the pizza store was closed. What could he do? His options were limited now.

But there was one option he decided on.

"I'll make you guys homemade pizza."

They all hoped to hear that, and it looks like it satisfied them.

"You?! We don't have any pizza ingredients!"Minhyuk said and followed his dad to where he was walking down the stairs.

"You ever heard of neighbors?"

And that's where Kihyun was headed. The house next them was owned by his friend, Mingyu, who also got him in trouble with the police over some joke. He still holds a grudge against his friend but it was for shits and giggles.

He knocked the door and after a while he heard some dog barking. He waited patiently and then the door opened and Mingyu was standing there with messy hair and eye bags.

"Carat...go inside."He ordered his dog and the dog refused. He latched on to Kihyun's arm and Kihyun's high pitched screaming made the birds fly out of the trees near by.

"GET HER OFF ME!!"He screamed and kept swinging his arm so the dog would leave him alone.

Mingyu stood there and chuckled,"Awww! She likes you."
