It started on the last day of the cold December....

"I'm breaking up with you." 

the 5 words i didn't want to hear coming out of Cole's mouth. i knew this was coming. but why does it still hurts?

instead of answering i just walked away, far away.

i closed my eyes 

and let all the water from my eyes pour out.

i knew Cole would choose me over a stupid slutty blondie! just because i'm a good girl, just because i'm a nerd who does whatever my mom says.

 i felt a vibration, i looked over to my phone and it said 'HOSPITAL' on it.

i answered with a shaky voice 

"H-hello?"

"Vanessa?"

it was Uncle Rob, mom's youngest brother and her doctor he wouldn't call me unless it was about Mom.

"Un-Uncle Rob, what happened to mom?"

"I'm sorry sweetie, she passed away just now."

"Wha-What!? H-how? What happened!?!"

"Your mom was stuck in a fire  at work. but it doesn't seems like an accident."

"Who's gonna take care of the house!?! Who's gonna take care of me?!"

"You're father is gonna take care of you while i'll take care of the house."

"You can't do that! i refuse to live with that bastard!! i want to live with you Uncle Rob!"

"i know, i want too as well. but i can't i'm not your real dad. i'm so sorry this had to happen.."

he ended the call.

i just dropped the phone

fell on my knees

and cried my hardest

happen on
