It was a dark, gloomy night. Lighting hit the old laboratory a wonderful ringing filled the air. Hunter clawed at the old kitchen door. “Let me in Alex, I promise I won't eat anything till they come.” Hunter whined at the door he wanted a hug badly. Alex opened the door. His eyes were yellowish gold, that complimented his smile wonderfully. The black smock he had on made him look smaller than he actually was. Hunter stood on his hind legs. “Hugs?” Hunter opened his arms. Alex shook his head letting out a chuckle, then hugged Hunter. Hunter was “7’8” while Alex was “6’7”. Hunter began to smile big. “Thanks babe.” Hunter mumbled. Alex let go and returned to his spot in the kitchen. Hunter followed behind. His arms wrapped around Alex’s waist. Alex was chopping chicken breast for tonight’s dinner. Luna and Lilith were coming over for dinner. “Whatcha makin cutie?” Hunter hummed. Alex pointed to the chicken, “your and Luna’s favorite. Chicken alfredo with broccoli sprouts.” Hunter licked his lips and smiled. Alex continued to cook, Hunter helped a bit but mainly hung onto Alex.
A sudden knock came at the door. Hunter ran to answer it. Luna and Lilith entered with a fangy smile. Both females had black spooky clothing on. Hunter showed the girls to the dining room. Luna sat down, her black wings behind the chair. Horns where a foot in the air and curly. Lilith’s arm wrapped around Luna’s back. Lilith’s long black hair touched her lower back as she sat down. Alex soon walked out with the food in his arms. Soon they all were sitting around the table eating. The storm continued outside. The room filled with laughter and talking. A loud crack of lighting stopped talking. BANG! The lights went out. A high pitched scream was let out of Alex’s mouth. “AHHHHHHHHHH!” When the lights came back on Alex was gone. Hunter’s eyes went wide. His heart feels like it's beating out of his chest. A mix of emotions hit him. Soon anger and fear filled his body. His boyfriend was gone. Hunter quickly searched the whole dining room. By this time Luna and Lilith were helping but in the living room. Hunter checked every room in the house but still no sign of Alex in there either. Hunter grew more worried. “ALEX!’’ Is all he yelled.
Luna soon heard whines and whimpers coming from the closest. “Hunter I think I found him unless you got a scared pup you haven’t told us about.” Hunter rushed over to the closet and opened the door. There was Alex in a ball hugging his legs. His cheeks were red and stained from crying. Hunter didn’t think he just took action. He hugged Alex tightly. Alex soon calmed down. “Sorry I’m a tad bit afraid of the dark.” Alex mumbled, feeling ashamed of his fear. Hunter picked Alex up bridal style and carried him to the couch. Luna and Lilith were on the couch across from them. Alex looked up at them and gave them a small smile. “I’m glad your safe, you scared all of us.” Hunter said as he near hugged the undead life out of Alex. Alex chuckled and smiled at hunter. “Looks like I wasn’t the only scared one tonight.’’ Several hours had passed Alex never left Hunter’s side. Before they knew it, the sun was about to rise, Luna and Lilith had left an hour ago. Alex and Hunter were in bed, snuggling with each other. Drifting off to sleep.
