Previously in Star Kiss,

... I glanced at Ethan, and found him watching me with intense eyes even as he drunk his bourbon he kept his eyes on me. As he finished his glass, he stood up and approached me. He towered over me like a skyscraper.

"Are you throwing a show for me?" He whispered in my ear.

"You wish" I declared. Why would he think that? Because that's what you're doing.

He narrowed his eyes. "Then you're good at giving boners unintentionally"

I looked up at him, shocked by his statement yet pleased with myself. His eyes traveled from my body to my eyes and down to my lips. I decided against the talk, giving him my most sexiest half smile I turned around to walk away. I haven't made a mere step when I felt a cold hand grasp my forearm, pulling me back. The abrupt spin made my head dizzy and I crashed into Ethan's hard chest.

"Where do you think you're going, gorgeous?" he asked with a wicked grin.

"Away from you" I smiled sardonically.

"No you're not" his arm snaked around my waist, holding me still. "Don't you like me?"

"Hmm" I cocked my head slightly, was he serious? "Sorry to break it to you, but you're not my type"

Ethan wasn't the only one surprised at my words. I can't say that he's not attractive because he is and I used to be crazy about him. But things changed, maybe because I was drunk or maybe the reason was David.

"You don't like dick?" Ethan's brows furrowed in confusion, his hold on me loosened.

I felt my cheeks heat up and I let out a low chuckle in embarrassment. It was the second time he mentioned penis in only five minutes of conversation. Despite the plan, leaving him I stayed. Curiosity would lead me to death someday. "Why would you think that?

"Because I'm every woman's type" he uttered in a 'duh' tone with a slight shrug of his shoulders. "Come on, I'm Ethan James!"

I rolled my eyes, shaking my head. "Well, apparently I'm not 'every woman'" As if that was some kind of a disease. "Now if you please excuse me, I need to find my friends"

His pretty face wore a wounded expression, making me feel guilty but not because of him. I spun on my heel and walked off, this time I actually made my way without being stopped. I looked around in search of Penelope. I stopped short, remembering that I left my cardigan by the bar. Cursing under my breath I rushed back. My phone was there too, I am so stupid.

"Hey!" I called to the bartender, waving my hand at him.

The brunette man took his time walking toward me, swaying his hips like a lady he looked more like a penguin. His caramel eyes blazed under all the lights from the bar, he grinned, noisily chewing a gum.

"What can I get for you?" He leaned on the counter, his eyes diverted at my chest.

I could clearly see the top of his brown head. It was very uncomfortable. "Uh-um have you by any chance seen a grey cardigan?"

"Aha" he mumbled looking up at me.

"Yes?"

"Some dude took it," he said. "I thought it was his."

I groaned and stalked into the crowd. I needed a new phone, thank goodness my phone fingerprint detector. I wouldn't want someone seeing all my private stuff I had in it.

"-thank you guys so much, this is going to be my last track" David's voice blasted through the speakers. I looked toward the stage but barely saw his features. "See you next year, I love you so fucking much!"
