I wake up, feeling depressed and irritated because I didn’t sleep well. I get up to find Cerberus lying on the floor, staring up at me. I nod my head at him and he gets up to walk over to me. I pet his head and then I start playing with his ears. “Wanna go for a walk?” I ask as he wags his tail.

Mike made breakfast but we ate in silence. He knows not to speak to me when I feel really upset. He gives me space and then waits to see if I’m okay later on.

After breakfast, I get ready to walk Cerberus. When I finish dressing up, I grab his leash hanging on the wall by the front door .

“I'm going out for a walk.” I announce.

“Okay.” he says as I put Cerberus’ leash on.

I open the door and I almost jump when I find a lady with a big creepy smile standing right in front of the door. She has blonde hair and red lip stick with blue eyes, dressed as if she's in the 70’s.

“Hello there!” she says with a perky attitude, holding a plate of cookies, “I’m doing a charity for orphans who don't have much. Is your guardian home?” she asks.

“Yeah, hold on a second.” I say, looking back, “Mike!” I call and he comes walking over.

His eyes widen a little once he takes a look at the woman.

“Hi, can I come in and explain about my charity for orphans who lost their parents due to a tragedy?” she asks, still smiling creepily.

“Um, sure.” he says awkwardly, letting her in.

“I’ll be back.” I say, walking with Cerberus.

"Don't go far." he says.

"Kay." I say, not looking back at him.

I hear the door close behind me and after a few steps, I get a bad flashback from when I was younger. A creepy lady with brown hair and blonde highlights walking up to our house with a man. She had blue eyes and a creepy smile. Dressed like the 70’s.

“Jane." I gasp, rushing to the door.

I open the door and I catch her pulling out a gun from under the cookies while Mike has her back turned. I tackle her down, knocking the gun out of her hand. Jane squirms, elbowing me in the rib so I pull her hair back as she screams. Mike spins around and pulls out his gun from a drawer nearby, aiming it at her. I grab my pocket knife from my pocket and then hold it against her neck to stop her from moving.

“You thought your plan was gonna work again, Jane?” I ask as Cerberus growls in her face, “Think again.” I say through my teeth.

Mike grabs Jane’s gun from the floor and puts it in his back pocket. I get off of her and she turns on her back with her creepy grin. I backhand her to wipe the grin off her face and she spits out blood on the carpet.

“How did you know it was her?” Mike asks me.

“She’s using the same plan that she used on my parents.” I answer him and she smirks.

“You have a good memory for such a stupid girl.” she says.

“I’m the stupid one?” I ask her, “I’m not the one who uses the same stupid plan.” I point out.

“If it were a stupid plan, how come it worked out well to kill your parents?” she says, stilling smiling.

"You-" I jump onto her and then start punching at her face

“Paige!” Mike yells at me, “Stop! Get off!”

I ignore him and she pulls me down next to her. When Mike got close, she kicks his gun out of his hand. She tries to catch it but I swing my knee towards her rib, making her scream in agony. Mike picks up the gun and pulls me up.
