Aadya POV:

He continued his intense stare as he, I assume, studies my features. His eyes scan my face, drinking in every aspect I had on display.

"Who are you and what are you doing in my home?" He gruffly spits out.

Stunned by his sudden outtake in words, I quickly compose myself. Trying to look as professional as possible.

"Well Sir, a fair lady had came into my shop and had ordered this vanity set" I point at the Dark Vanity "She had given me this address in order to deliver it to her here. I'm sorry has there been some form of misunderstanding?"

He quietly walked over to the vanity running his slender finger across the dark wood. His eyes pan up the glass, which seems to be capturing the darkness of this hollow home.

"It's cracked" he adds

"Yeah...I'm well aware..."

"Who would buy a vanity that is cracked? Seems like a waste of money doesn't it ?"

"Well, it's rather unprofessional of me to criticize what others buy. Maybe she simply has a unique taste,"

"Very well, leave it here you may go."

" Alright sir, Have a good day"

I nod, turning my heel to head to the door. Walking down the ominous hallway I could feel his eyes burning into my skull. I really hope this was the right home and I didn't hand off the Vanity to some arbitrary guy.

There was Brandon leaning by the doorway, aimlessly scrolling through his phone. Once I get closer he finally looks up.

Hey! You didn't die!" He exclaimed, "Did you find the lady?"

"Well Not exactly. I mean I found a guy, who I assume it's the owner of this house"

"So You just gave the vanity to some random guy ?"

"Well yeah... Anyway, let's leave before he catches us standing here. He's kinda menacing in a way"

Brandon chuckles as we walk back to the car. Stepping in I notice a shadow-like figure standing by the window. I Wasn't able to make put their face but the shape seemingly belongs to a man.

Huh Weird

Ares POV

I can't believe my mother spent money on this worthless junk. She could have at least bought one with a mirror that isn't fractured. I Guess It will stay here until she comes, considering I have no Clue where to put it and the gods forbid if I put it in the wrong place.

One of the slightly ajar drawers had caught my eye, opening it revealed a business card. I assume this belonged to the girl.

Interesting...
