Starla McFee and her best friend, Hallory are walking through town towards their apartment complexes, after a long day at work, when Starla suddenly stops. She just saw the perfect Christmas sweater. Starla adores Christmas sweaters, and its December, fifteen days till Christmas and this is the perfect gift to get for herself. She looks down the road to where Halo is still walking, oblivious to the absence of her immature friend. Starla stifles a giggle and quickly dodges into the store and straight to the sweater. Its red, and fluffy all over and she just want to snuggle with it already. She reaches her hands out to touch it just as Halo walks up behind her.

"Starla! What are you doing?!" Halo asks, although she already knows the answer. But she is used to treating Starla like a kid. You can't take your eye off her for one minute or she'll disappear and get into any trouble she can find.

"Look. At. The. Sweater. I have to get it! Its the perfect one! And we all know no-one is going to get me one. Also, I haven't got anything for me yet. Its perfect!" Starla is jumping up and down with excitement.

"Star!" Halo growls "You are not getting the sweater, okay? Lets go!" Starla just watches Halo head towards the door and turns back tot he sweater.

"Hey! Store guy!" The guy walks over, his name tag reads Kim. That's all. "Kim, how much is this sweater?"

He reaches a hand boredly out, looking at her like she is stupid, which she is, and looks at the price-tag hanging from the sleeve. "Two hundred and fifty dollars."

Starla pouts. That is half of what she has right now! Until she gets paid at the end of the month, she won't be able to get it, unless she cuts out on food. Sweater or food? Sweater....food...Dammit!

"Its two hundred and fifty Star!! Now lets go! You can come home and snuggle with one of the twenty that are in your closet! Stop looking at it!" Halo walks back over to Starla. Seriously! She has a sweater for every Christmas of her life, and she saved all of them.

"Pull me away." Starla mutters quietly to Halo.

"What?"

"Pull me away!" She hisses. Halo sighs and grabs her by the hand and starts pulling her to the door. Starla goes into awesome dramatics, reaching for the sweater and yelling "NOoooo" loudly as she's being pulled away by the evil Halo. As they finally leave the store Starla doesn't notice the man watching her, and she' won't notice, untill its to late.

LOL! funny ending. And both girls are 20 years old. btw :)
