Chapter 12.1

Nanatili kaming nakatitig sa isa't isa ni Kaizon nang may sumigaw, "Fucking get out of my way!"

Halos matumba si Kaizon nang bungguan ito ni Alekxus. Malalaki ang hakbang ni Alekxus habang ito'y papunta sa akin.

He immediately reached me, crouching down, he patted my whole body checking my injuries. Dumidilim ang nag-aalala niyang mukha sa tuwing makakasapo ng sugat. Hinawakan niya ang magkabila kong pisngi at isinandal ang noo sa akin.

I felt him sighed in relief, "I'm sorry." he apologized. Alam ko kaagad kung bakit siya nag-sorry. Alekxus was sorry that he was not there to help me defend myself.

"Don't apologize. This is not your fault." sagot ko. Alekxus' reply is to drop a kiss on my mouth. Hindi ito nagtagal sapagkat nabaling ang attensyon niya sa Beta ng Oleander Pack na umatake sa akin.

I felt him shifting to his half-form. Mga pureblooded werewolves, daughters and sons of a werewolf pair, lang ang may kakayahan na gawin ito. Bihira ang mga purebloods sapagkat hindi madaling magka-anak ang mga werewolves.

Usually, the child is deformed and will die some hours after birth. Minsan, hindi pa naipapanganak, naaagas na ang bata sa tiyan ng ina. Purebloods like Alekxus and Kaizon are considered as miracles in the werewolf community.

Sa half-form, kaya nilang gayahin ang lakas at ibang parte ng kanilang anyong lobo kahit na nanatiling tao ang kanilang porma. All their body parts grow bigger and bulkier too resulting to ripping of their shirts. For this exact reason, matitibay ang pantalon ng mga purebloods. It would cause commotion if that rips too.

Meanwhile, the Beta of Oleander Pack has finally recovered from the effects of my ability. Nakatingin siya sa akin na para bang nakakakita ng multo. Bakas ang takot at pangamba sa kaniyang mukha. All of my victims are aware that I know their deepest, darkest secrets.

I grinned at him and I know he felt chills from it. Mula sa akin, nailipat niya ang titig kay Alekxus, Alekxus who's now deeply growling, his body stiff, poising to attack. "You are going to die." anunsyo ni Alekxus. A promise of death. Gagawin niya ang lahat upang maisakatuparan ito at walang makakapigil sa kaniya.

Alekxus is about to leap when another body crash on him. The next thing I know, Alekxus is already grappling against Kaizon. 

"You don't have the right to touch my mate!" galit na sigaw ng Alpha ng Oleander Pack. Katulad ni Alekxus, nasa half-form din ito.

Nakuha kaagad ni Alekxus ang nais iparating ni Kaizon at mas lalong dumilim ang expresyon nito. "Redemption is my mate." madigin niyang sagot. Nang inakala kong mananatili lang siyang kalmado, biglang umalulong sa galit si Alekxus, "She's mine! Mine alone!"

Mas lumalala ang bugbugan sa pagitan ng dalawang pureblood. They're rolling all over the place, trying their best to dominate as they throw punches, scratches, kicks, and even head-butts against each other. May mga pagkakataong si Kaizon ang nasa ibabaw ngunit hindi iyon magtatagal, Alekxus would overpower him resulting to a switch of position and then the cycle repeats.

Those two seemed to be equally matched. Seryoso at kalmado lang ang mga Oxalis, samantalang nakakunot ang noo at naguguluhan ang mga Oleanders. Naglalaban ang pagnanais na tulungan ang kanilang Alpha at ang utos nito na sila'y huminto. Oleanders are naturally aggressive that's why unlike the Oxalis, they're finding it difficult not to join the fight.

As they continue to brawl, you can also hear the two purebloods growling at each other...

"I'm going to kill you before you lay your filthy hands on my mate again!" saad ni Kaizon, umaagos na ang dugo mula sa kaniyang ilong.

"It's you who will die! Redemption will never be yours!" sagot ni Alekxus, his mouth, with a blooded lip, opened in a snarl. 

"Your pack has killed my werewolves and now you dare steal my mate away from me!"

"We didn't kill your werewolves and I'm not stealing your mate when she's never yours in the first place!"

"Wrong! We already consummated the bond!" Napahinto ang kamao ni Alekxus sa ere. "That's right, Oxalis, I was already inside her! I spent all night memorizing that body, committing every flesh, curves, and how they felt against my own into memory! Now tell me," Kaizon smirked in triumph, "Who was there first? I bet you haven't even slept with her."

Napahakbang ako papunta sa kanila, binabalot ng galit ang buong pagkatao. He didn't change. Wala siyang karapatan na ianunsyo sa publiko ang mga pribadong bagay na nangyari sa pagitan naming dalawa. After all these time, Kaizon is still an asshole.

I was about to interfere when Alekxus replied, "I don't care about those things. You sound as if you want her for her body, I don't care about that. Mas lalong wala akong pakialam kung ano ang nakaraan niyong dalawa. Don't be mistaken, I will know the details soon, but my Redemption should never be afraid of judgment from me." Something in me came alive after Alekxus said those words. "You told me you are her past, but mark my words, Alpha Oleander," With all resolution, Alekxus added, "I am Redemption's future."

Nangalaiti si Kaizon sa galit at humaba ang mga pangil niya dahil mas nananaig na ang lobo sa kaniyang dugo. Nawawalan na siya ng kontrol. The beast is all about dominance and control especially when it comes to topics like mating.

"That will happen over my dead body." anas ni Kaizon habang naglilitikan sila ni Alekxus.

Alekxus growled, "Then just like your Beta, you are going to die."
