I was kissing this kid I met a couple days ago. What the hell is wrong with me? What's even worse is that in still kissing him, back. I'm gonna stick with today's motto and take it in stride. I full on kissed him back. "Mari, I thought you were special the moment I ran over you. Do you believe me?" He had my face cupped in his rough hands. I laughed and nodded back. I believed him. It doesn't take long to realise when you are meant to be with someone. "Hiro! Mari! Are you kids here?" My mom called from the front door. I broke away. "Shit, my moms here. Go!" I made frantic motions with my hands. "I'll call you later!" He promised. I smiled in reply. I shut the door and leaned heavily against it. I exhaled deeply. I've never felt like this before. Like... I don't know, it's just this amazing feeling.
"So what does this mean for us? Are we like dating now? Like I don't even know you that well, I think we just got caught up in the moment, you know?" I was saying. "Yeah, I don't know. I mean, it felt pretty real to m-" He suddenly cut off. "Hey, what was that you were saying?" I asked him. "GET UNDER SOMETHING NOW MARI!" He yelled at me over the phone. "KEEP YOUR PHONE ON AS LONG AS POSSIBLE," he said urgently. I listened to him and got under my desk. "Ok why? What the hell was that about?" I asked cautiously. "Are ---- some---ing?" He was breaking up. The floor started to shake. It was getting more and more violent. I started screaming.
