Can't sleep and talking with Lisa

Hey guys here's chapter 3! It's in Sarah's point of view!

I wake up and look over at my alarm clock. 5am. 'Its too early to be up class doesn't even start for 3 more hours.' I couldn't sleep. I just kept thinking about Scott. I get up and walk down the hall. Lisa is still sleeping. We share this house and it's only about a mile from the college we go to, Miami U. I go to the kitchen and grab some juice from the fridge.

"What are you doing up?" I hear Lisa ask.

"Couldn't sleep." I say heading over to the table.

"Yeah me either. So... what'd you think of Scott. I seen you two talking." She smiles.

"He's nice." I lie. Truth is I thought he was amazing and I barley even knew him.

"Nice? That's it?"

I nod, holding back a smile.

"Well I think he's hot and you should give him a chance. You need a man."

'She was right.' I just shrugged my shoulders.

Lisa's phone beeped. She smiled. It was Kyle, I could tell by the way her face lit up when she looked at her phone.

"Kyle wants to know if you wanna go to the movies with us tonight?" she asked.

'Will Scott be there?' I hoped. "Sure" I said.

"Awesome. Scott's going with us." she said.

I smiled

"Uhhuh. He's nice my butt. You like him!" Lisa said.

"I hardly know him." I said.

"Get to know him." Lisa said and headed to the other room.

We sat down and turned on the tv.

"No but you should get to know him. Kyle says he's a great guy." Her phone beeped again. "Oh and he's single." she said, and held up the phone for me to see the text.

"I don't think I should get involved with someone in the army. What if he gets called back and has to go?" I said.

"You don't worry about that. He's out. Which means there's a slim chance he'll get called back." she said. "Now I'm going back to sleep."

I watched as she walks back towards her room. I lay there watching tv until I drift off to sleep.

I wake up to Lisa jamming music. This is always how she got ready. I got up and went to get ready.
