New Feelings

Chapter 2

Naruto's POV

"Wha, where am I?" I said trying to open my eyes.

Once my eyes finally adjusted I saw Sakura on the couch in front of me.

"Oh yeah, that's right." I whispered.

I got up quietly from the chair I fell asleep on and grabbed a pen and paper.

Hey Sakura, I hope you're feeling better! If you aren't figure out some way to let me know and I'll be straight over! If you're feeling better come hang out or something, that's if you want to.
Naruto

I placed the note on the table and kneeled down next to Sakura, she looks so pretty even when she sleeps. I kissed her forehead right on her tattoo mark.

Sakura's POV

I heard the front door shut and now I could finally 'wake up'. "He actually kissed me." I thought to myself, I would've hit him normally but not today. I felt the heat move to my cheeks.

"I guess I really do like him." I said smiling like an idiot.

What's this? A note? Awww how thoughtful of him.
How long could I keep up this act of being sick?It does make sense, I've essentially just been working. I'll give it another day of pretending, for now I'll call soon.

Naruto's POV
2 hours later

"Ughh who's calling me?" I got up and picked up the phone.

"This better be important." I say into the phone.

"N-Naruto, I'm not f-feeling well." It was Sakura!

I hung up and bee lined it straight to her house.

"Sakura! Are you okay?" She was laying on the couch looking unwell.

"Don't worry Sakura I'll make soup." Another dish I will be learning to cook.

I made a shadow clone and sent him to find a book about soup. Meanwhile I got a new rag and wet it with cold water, I walked over to Sakura and placed it on her forehead.

"T-Thank you Naruto." Sakura said, her eyes glistened as she looked at me.

"No need to thank me Sakura, just helping out my favourite person in the world." I gave her a big smile, she smiled back.

Sakura's POV

I can't believe he's so cute without realising it, he does everything in his own cute little way. He sat down on one of the dining chairs in front of me and checked my temperature, he removed the rag and checked my forehead.

"You're getting better! You should be good tomorrow I think but I'm no world class medic ninja like you Sakura." He smiled at me again and put the rag back on my forehead. I reached my arm out and grabbed his hand, I just held it for a while.

"Sorry Sakura, my shadow clone dispelled and got the recipe back to me so I gotta get up." I pouted at him as he got up.

"What the hell!"
"Ow, stupid water!"
"How does anyone cook!"

After a while Naruto came over with the soup, he sat down in front of me. I slowly sat up and went to grab it but he shook his head.
Naruto was feeding me, it was really cute! I couldn't help but blush the whole time, he really would make the perfect husband.

When I finished Naruto got up and cleaned up his mess from before and washed up any dishes I had. He came over and sat down next to me on the couch.

Naruto's POV

"So Sakura, wanna watch a movie?" I said, there's not much else to do other than that.

"Yeah, c-can you put on a scary one though?" She said to me.

"Alright, if you say so." I got up and found a scary movie Sakura had in the draw.

Thirty minutes in Sakura snuggled up next to me, I could feel butterflies in my stomach.
"She's only scared, nothing else." I kept telling myself.

The movie finished, it actually had me a little scared at times. I looked down at Sakura and she was sleeping, she looked so peaceful so I decided not to wake her. I found myself rubbing her cheek with my thumb, her skin was as soft as silk. She stirred a bit and woke up. "Shit." Was my only thought. I moved my hand back, embarrassed by what I was doing.

"Naruto it's okay if you do that, I don't mind." Who is she? And what has she done with Sakura.

"I don't wanna take advantage of you while you're like like this Sakura, c-considering my uh, feelings." She always knew about them but didn't care.

"N-Naruto, it's okay you aren't taking advantage of me." She looked up and smiled at me.

Sakura's POV the next day

I slowly woke up adjusting to the light that came through the curtains. Naruto had left last night making sure I was fine, I can't fake being sick today.
"I should organise something with Naruto." I thought to myself.

I got up out of bed and hopped into the shower, the warm water reminded me on snuggling next to Naruto yesterday. I got out and made breakfast, nothing fancy just cereal today.
Ring, Ring... Ring, Ring
"Who's calling me?" I thought as I walked over to the phone.

"Hello this is Sakura." I said into the phone.

"Hey Sakura-chan! You sound better!" My heart skipped a beat when he said my name, I don't know why, it just did.

"Y-Yeah I'm feeling a lot better, do you wanna go somewhere today? Or are you busy studying?" I asked him.

"Sorry Sakura, I gotta catch up on all the study I missed the past two days." Naruto said sadly on the other end of the phone. Then an idea popped into my head.

"How about I come over and help you study? I know you, you don't understand every term in whatever you're reading." I said.

"Sakura-chan you really don't have to, I'm doing good on my study." I could tell he was lying.

"Right well I'll be over in an hour or so, you can't change my mind. Think of it as paying you back after what you did for me these past two days." I blushed a little at the thought of him taking care of me.

"Thanks Sakura." Naruto said quietly before he hung up the phone.

"He's such an idiot, but he's my idiot." I said after he hung up.
