Its based off the original story of pokemon origins just slightly different as it follows Angel Halliwell as he joins red on his journey to complete the pokedex

Red!" We all heard someone call causing the three of us to look up and see a familiar face.
"You defeated the pokemon League, I came to congratulate you" The person said smiling.
"Its gramps" Blue said shocked.
"Oh Professor Oak" Red said suprised as well.
"Hi Professor" I said smiling with a wave. He nodded in my direction with a smile acknowledging my greeting.
"I'm really quite impressed, you've grown up so much since that day you first left with Charmander on your quest to complete the Pokédex" He said as he walked over to us.
"You know Red you really have come of age now" He finished.
"Well i just" Red said somewhat bashfully.
"The Professor is right Red and I of all people should know since i was with you every step of the way after all" I said giggling at the embarrassed blush he had on his face but he had a smile non the less.
"What a shame Blue, once I heard that you had beaten the Elite Four, I decided that I should come by the time I had arrived you had already lost" The Professor said.
"Well you took to long to get here" Blue said.
"Listen to me Blue, do you truly understand why you lost this battle?" The Professor asked.
"I just got a bit unlucky, thats all, if he and I battled again i won't lose" Blue said causing me to facepalm at him and his cockiness.

"You foolish boy" I heard the Professor say causing me to look at at him. "The reason you lost is because you forgot to treat you Pokemon with trust and love" The Professor said.
"If thats all it took i wouldn't of worked so hard" Blue said causing me to sweatdrop at him.
"Now Red you do understand that this victory of yours was not just your own doing, don't you?" The Professor asked.
"Yes sir, I try to remember that" Red said.
"Very well Red I want you to come with me" The Professor said as blue let out a sigh.
"Your not coming Angel?" Red asked as he looked at me
"I don't think I can ether way, go on i'm right out here waiting plus I kinda wanna talk to Blue" I told him as he nodded and followed the Professor.
I looked back to the brunette and watched as he gave me a very confused look.
"You know you grown since we left as well right" I said sitting back down at the steps and patting the space next to me inviting him.
