The Demon Within [A TMNT Fan-fiction]

Chapter One: Blood's POV

I was pissed. It didn't help that my family literally abandoned me. They couldn't handle it anymore, so they left. That's so fucking ironic. They left me. After everything they've put me through, they've really got the balls to say I was the problem!? After they left, I found a new family, of course I didn't trust them either, but I had to start somewhere, didn't I? Anyway, my name's Jaden. Jaden Kaguya Jikizuarimoto. My new family. the Foot, renamed me with a ver fitting name: "Blood". I was out on patrol when I was ambushed by four reptillian creatures. Was I shocked? No, I can't say that I was. Being a demon, nothing really surprises me. They circled me for a couple seconds, then the one wearing a red bandana struck first. He was tough, but too impatient. Just like me. I quickly kicked him out of the way and charged at the rest. The one in orange was first to go down. Then the purple. Last but not least, the one in blue. I go in to deal the final blow when I realized that the red one had disappeared. He just then decided to attack me, knocking my blade out of my hand. Soon, all four of them were back up. 

"Woah... the Foot's really stepping up their game!" The orange reptile stated.

"Grrrr...... who the heck is this guy!?" Red asked.

"....Blood. My name's Blood." I smile.

"...what?" The blue asked.

"Now, die." I charge at them with my katana unsheathed. Just before I killed them, a girl with black and blonde hair shouted.

"Enough!" she she shrieked.

"K-Karai?" blue asked, shocked. I just rolled my eyes. 

"Damn it, Karai. You couldn't just let me vent, could you!?" I asked rhetorically.

"Shut up, freak. I don't know what father sees in you, but you're lucky," she shot back.

"Oh, sister.... are you trying to get killed!?" I ask, gripping my katana. 

"Ha! I knew it! You're only here to destroy us! Just wait until father hears about this." Karai sneered. I growled, my eyes turning blood red. Tonight's not my night.

"Not even close. The Foot's my new family." I defend as two other members of my family appear by my side. 

"Karai, you're the only one giving Blood a hard time," my brother, Mizuki pointed out.

"I hate to interupt this little family reunion, but can we just fight?!" the red asked. I just smiled.

"Unfortunately, no." This time, it was Fang who spoke up. "Blood, father wishes to test you."

"Fine." And with that, we disappeared.
