The autumn rain tapped against the window lightly, almost being drowned out by the faint radio from in the kitchen. It was nice and quiet, the atmosphere very calm and soft. Tiffany walked over and looked out of the window, sighing softly as her brunette hair fell over her face. She tucked it behind her ear, looking about before she closed the curtains slowly. The quietness was broken by her boyfriend, Charles, walking downstairs. He had his usual blazer on, probably a knife or gun hidden in one of the inside pockets. She walked over to him, chuckling softly as she looked up at him.

Although his huge, and scary looking physicality, and his loose screws, Charles was actually a sweetheart towards Tiffany. Sure, he would get angry and violent at times, but she was his queen, and he'd do anything for her, even murder.

"Just be safe." Tiffany sighed softly, sorting out Charles' blazer carefully. Charles was going out to do his usual 'hobby', and whenever Tiff wasn't with him, it worried her. Although he'd never even been close to getting caught, it still worried her all of the time. She was helpless without him, and he was helpless without her. Although the two were obviously missing a screw or two, they couldn't be more fit for each other.

Charles sighed softly, holding onto her waist as he pulled her closer, just enjoying the time they spent together. Her face flushed at the contact, still just as lover-stricken as when she first met him.

"I will, Tiff. Don't worry." He smiled softly, tucking her hair behind her ear carefully.

"Pinkie promise?" She held up her pinkie in hopes he would lock in the promise, which of course, he did. He leant down, still holding onto her pinkie as he connected their lips softly, smiling happily before pulling away.

"I'll be back in an hour or two, princess. Don't miss me too much~" Charles cooed softly, spinning her carefully. She giggled softly, nodding confidently as she watched him walk out of the door, blowing him a kiss, her heart instantly dropping in worry.

She spent the next two hours reading, singing, and baking to keep her mind off of it. She smiled as she danced around the kitchen to the music, cooking the happy couple a meal. That was until the song ended, a deep and loud male voice instantly coming on to the radio. Tiff payed no attention to it, thinking it was just the regular broadcast, that was until the words 'we have interrupted the local broadcast to bring you breaking news'. Her eyes instantly widened as she looked towards the radio, turning it up purely out of interest.

'This just in, well known strangler 'Charles Lee Ray' has just been gunned down in 'Playland' in downtown'

The news presenter read out.

Tiffany instantly felt her heart drop, her breath hitching harshly as she dropped the plate in her hand.

"Shit, shit, shit-" She panicked, running to the TV as she tried to turn it on. Her hands were shaking too much as she cursed herself under her breath for not being able to turn it on. She finally managed to turn it on, the TV showing Charles dead body sprawled out across the floor. She let out a cold, chilling scream as she dropped the remote, shaking her head in disbelief.

"No... No." She tried to reassure herself, trying to keep herself from breaking down before it hit her. She screamed, burying her face into her hands as she sobbed harshly. Her makeup streamed down her face as she tried to gasp for air, running her hand down to the tattoo of his name on her chest. To say she was in utter disbelief was an understatement. She brought her shaky hands back to in front of her face, staring at them and despair, as if it was her fault. It felt like her whole world had just been ripped from her hand, and now she was all on her own.

Tiffany jumped up, going to get her leather jacket before her eyes laid upon one of Charles' coat. With shaky hands she leant up, grabbing it carefully as she put it on. She leant down, taking in his scent with a small broken smile, before breaking out into tears again. She didn't even worry about the hood, just walking out into the freezing cold rain. Everything had already been taken from her, what more could she have to loose?
