"You both know each other?" Chanyeol asked, looking back and forth between Kyungsoo and Jayline, who were still standing and looking at each other with surprise.

"Jay?" Mae asked. "You okay? Do you know DO?"

"DO? Isn't his name Do Kyungsoo?" Jay furrowed her eyebrows.

"Waah. Unnie remembers DO sunbaenim's name but forgets mine so often." Yang Mi pouted.

"Yah, if you leave an impression as strong as his, I'll be bound to remember your name," Jay said to the younger girl.

"Strong impression, eh?" Kyungsoo chuckled.

"Mhmm. Strong to the point that I actually had to agree with my best friend that I am, in fact, not the only oddball in the entire campus." Jay smirked.

"When did you agree with me?" Mae looked confused.

"In my head, I did." Jay replied, causing the former girl to roll her eyes.

"Wait, so this is the guy you've been talking about?" Mae asked, piecing the information together. 'No wonder his name sounded familiar.' She thought.

"Mae, your thought process runs slower than a sloth." Jay gave her best friend a disappointed look.

"Tch. Now, sit down, will you? We haven't gotten all day, and I'm hungry, and the food will get cold." Mae said, in one breath.

"Stop adding so many 'and's in one sentence, woman!" Jay exclaimed, taking her seat beside Mae, while Kyungsoo took the seat beside her.

"Yah," Jay put down her chopsticks only a second after picking them up. "Geundae (by the way), you told me you were in Psychology class. However, I've never seen you in any of the classes. Were you lying?" Jay charged.

"You didn't look hard enough," Kyungsoo stated nonchalantly, digging into his food.

"I looked for you for the past one month. Do you know how many classes we have a week? Three-"

"Three a week, 12 a month, so, 42 a semester, give or take a couple of extra classes," DO cut Jay's words short.

Jay laughed in disbelief; this guy was surely getting on her nerves. "And yet, I saw you in none of them." Jay glared daggers at DO.

"Just because you didn't see me, doesn't mean I wasn't there. Does it?" DO turned to look at Jay.

The intense staring contest went on for a couple of seconds before Mae broke the awkwardness.

"Jay, you might not have classes after lunch on Tuesdays, but I do. Let's finish eating" she kept poking Jay's arm to get her to stop glaring at DO.

"Yeah, Kyungsoo-ya, I also have classes. Let's finish eating fast, okay!" Chanyeol laughed nervously, patting his best friend on the back.

The four went back to eating their food in silence while Jung Yang Mi only kept staring at DO. She had this strange sparkling and admiration in her eyes for the boy sitting opposite to her. Not only was he very smart and could tackle Jay's wit head on, but was also very handsome. His fair skin, doe like eyes, heart shaped lips, and beautiful black hair made him the most handsome guy she had ever seen.

"Yah, Jung Yang Mi? Jung Yang Mi?" Jay tried to grab the younger girl's attention.

"Huh? Ye, sunbae-nim?" Yang Mi looked at Jay, all dazed and confused.

"Yah, which world are you in? I've been calling you for some time now and you didn't even respond."

"Ah, I'm sorry, unnie." The younger girl bowed apologetically.
