Trigger Warning: bullying & abuse!

Y/n's POV:

"Y/n! Wake up! We need to go to the Malfoy's for some business." My mother screamed from her room. I groan as I sit up, and rub my eyes getting all the gunk off.

The Malfoy's? I roll my eyes so hard they could practically turn over. I love Narcissa and Lucius, I hate their spoiled son Draco. My family has always known the Malfoy's for a very long time. Practically since I was a baby. Draco and I were raised together, but we could never get along. Every time my mother and Narcissa met up for "play dates" Draco would always pull my hair or take my toys away. That was when we were small.

Now we were 17 and although he does not pull my hair or take my toys away, he is still a dick. Most times when we had to go to Malfoy Manor I would sit in their library and read. And he would usually go in there to torment me or to take my book away and put it somewhere I couldn't reach. We never hung out at school either, our parents would ask us what we did together and both of us would lie through our teeth. It was hilarious hearing Draco talk nicely of me, when it was quite the opposite.

I hated Hogwarts because of him. Even though I was a Slytherin, he would bully me regardless. It would mostly have to do with me hanging out with the trio. He would push me or lock me in a broom closet. He would call me cruel names like "blood traitor" just because I was hanging out with my friends. At one point he pushed me so hard I got a bruise on my shoulder. I wanted to fight back so badly, but he was way taller and stronger than me.

I took a quick shower and changed, drying my hair with a spell. My parents were already waiting for me, so once I reached downstairs we left immediately.

The car ride made me a bit anxious, I really didn't like going to Malfoy Manor because of Draco, but I could not disappoint my parents.

Arriving at Malfoy Manor, Narcissa immediately hugged me. She loved having me around, ever since I was small she would treat me like her own child. I shook Lucius hand and smiled at him. Draco greeted my parents and nodded at me when he saw me. I had to fake a smile, but in the inside I just wanted to punch his face.

"We will be back soon, we have some business to attend at work." My father told me and I nodded. "We didn't want to leave you alone, we don't want anything happening to you." My mother laughed and I faked a laugh. I was perfectly cable of protecting myself from anyone.

"Draco do keep Y/n company, we will be back shortly." Lucius told him sternly and Draco nodded sending me the fakest smile I have ever seen. This was going to be hell.

Author's POV:

Y/n sat in the Malfoy's library couch. Their elf had brought her hot chocolate as it was cold. She loved being there, the smell of books and parchment paper almost made her forget she was there alone with Draco.

She turned the page of her book, but the end of the paper cut her finger as Draco grabbed it. She winched in pain putting her finger in her mouth.

"Bloody hell Draco!" She told him angrily as she watched her finger bleed slightly. Draco just smirked. "Will you stop being a dick and give me my book back?" She asked him, not having any time for his shenanigans.

"Beg for it." He raised an eyebrow at her and she rolled her eyes. Y/n was not going to deal with this. "Draco seriously not today." She sighed getting up trying to reach for the book, but he raised it above her. Y/n watched as Draco's lips formed a smirk and his eyes narrowed slightly at her. She rolled her eyes, "Just keep it then," Y/n turned around, but Draco grabbed her arm turning her around. "Going to give up that easily?" He taunted Y/n and she sighed, "I'm simply just not in the mood for fighting."

"What's wrong blood traitor, don't feel so tough without your little friends?" Y/n looked at him with furrowed eyebrows, "Stop calling me a blood traitor just because people want to be my friend, unlike you." Draco raised his eyebrow, "Is that so?" Y/n stood up straight trying to seem tough, "Yes no one fucking likes you. They only use you because of your family name. Let's be real Malfoy, everyone fucking hates you – including your own parents." She spat and Draco's eyes filled with rage. No one was ever allowed to speak to him that way.

He went towards Y/n and raised his hand slapping her across the face, "Shut the fuck up." He spat. Y/n held her hand against her hot red cheek, "Fuck you!" She pushed him against the wall, "You're just mad because I'm telling the truth. You're vile and cruel and no one will ever love you. That's why your parents wish I was their child." Draco pushed her back making her fall. He reached into his pocket and grabbed his wand, pointing it at Y/n.

"Shut your mouth or I'll make you regret it." He breathed heavily through his nose. "What are you going to do that you haven't done? All you have ever done is put me through hell. Now that someone is finally standing up to you, you can't do anything. Face it Draco, you're scared. You're scared you will never be enough."

Draco looked at her speechless. A part of him wanted to cast a spell that would make her beg for her life and another part of him wanted to beat her. Hit her so fucking hard, her face was unrecognizable. He hated Y/n, but he didn't know why. He could never seem to like her.

Before he could to anything, Narcissa came in. She looked at the two kids, "What's going on here?" Y/n turned around to meet Narcissa's eyes and back to Draco. "We were just dueling Mother, Y/n lost." He smiled sweetly at her and she nodded. "You'll get him next time dear." Narcissa told Y/n and she laughed lightly. "Your parents are about to leave dear," Narcissa told Y/n before she left the room.

Y/n got up fixing her hair and trying to make her cheek less red. "This isn't over." Draco told her as he grabbed harshly onto her arm. She shoved him getting his grip off her, "Fuck off, coward. Don't ever lay your hand on me again, or I will make you regret it."
