Remus sat in the dorm on his bed, staring up at the ceiling. Being Sirius' fake boyfriend was getting harder by the second. The kiss in Hogsmeade was just the first between them and he ached to kiss Sirius again. For real. They agreed that it wouldn't be necessary to kiss when the girls weren't around, so Remus couldn't even use that as an excuse.

It was the next day and Sirius had been dismissed from the hospital wing. He walked into the dorm to see a half-naked Remus. He was stood with his shirt off, back to the door.Sirius stood there and couldn't help but look. Remus' muscly back had pink scars cascading across it.
He's hot ... ew Sirius you perv stop staring at him.
"Wow Moons. I know I deserve a good welcome back, but not that good." he pretended to swoon and Remus rolled his eyes.
"Chuck me that sweater will you."
Sirius looked to where he was pointing and smirked. "What this one?" He picked it up and waved it.
"Yeah. Pass it here." Remus had his arms outstretched in front of him, flexing the muscles in his upper arm. Sirius was mentally drooling at how gorgeous Remus looked.
"No." Sirius jumped on his bed, now towering over an annoyed werewolf.
"Sirius!" Remus lunged at him but Sirius dodged him and jumped over to James' bed.
"Come and get it," he winked.
"For Merlin's sake. I'm going to be late for mine and Lily's study date."
"Better hurry up and catch me then." Sirius took off again, running around the room, squealing like a girl.
He stopped and turned around to see an empty room.
"What? Re-" two hands grabbed his waist and pulled him back. He turned around awkwardly and came face-to-face with Remus. They were so close Sirius could see every tiny freckle as he looked up onto his face.
"Caught you." Remus' voice was barely a whisper, his hands still on Sirius' waist.
Still shirtless...
Sirius's eyes flickered to Remus' lips and he tried to control his heavy breathing.
And then without thinking, Remus moved his head and kissed Sirius lightly on the lips.
Before Sirius could kiss him back, Remus had pulled away.
"Crap... I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that," he ran a hand through his hair and bent down to pick up the sweater, which had been dropped on the floor in Sirius' shock. "I... Merlin, I'm sorry... I know you're not gay. Shit. I just got carried away and the pretending got to me and me just..." Remus felt like punching himself. He pushed past Sirius and ran out of the door, shoving the sweater over his head and pulling it close to him. He kept running all the way down to the Entrance Hall and outside into the fresh air.
Sirius however stayed rooted to the spot.
What the...
Remus had just kissed him. He'd actually kissed him. Not pretend. Not fake... they were alone. Remus had just kissed him. Something Sirius had wanted to do forever. And then he'd left...
What did he mean by 'you're not gay?' Was he blind?
I've got to find him, was his first thought.
No. Let him calm down a little. He obviously thinks you don't like him like that. Merlin, why does he think that? I... I love him, the absolute idiot.
Sirius walked downstairs, mind ticking thinking about Remus, and Remus' lips, and Remus' hands, and Remus' smile, and Remus without a shirt...
He sat on the window seat in the common room and waited, attention fixed on the portrait hole.

Two hours later Remus walked through the portrait. Sirius' head instantly snapped up, but he stayed still, a faint smile on his lips. Remus walked over in silence. At least he doesn't look mad, Remus thought.
"You were wrong," Sirius said.
Remus met his eyes finally. "About what?"
"I am gay Moons. I'm very, very gay. You're just an idiot." Sirius got up and walked over to where Remus was stood.
"You are?"
"Yeah. And all afternoon I couldn't think of anything but you."
"Neither." Remus felt relieved. And then he noticed how close they were again... and how much he loved Sirius...
"Can I kiss you again?"
Not even bothering to answer, Sirius pressed forward and met Remus' lips with his own. Remus wrapped his arms around Sirius' waist, Sirius' hands in his hair.
There was something so addicting about kissing Sirius that meant Remus couldn't stop. Every touch made sparks fly through his body, his mind only focused on the boy in front of him.
Sirius had waited what felt like forever to do this. To kiss Moony. His Moony.
This time when they kissed, it wasn't fake. It wasn't to put off girls or to annoy anyone else. It wasn't an attempt to figure out feelings. It wasn't full of lies. It was years of love in one touch. It was them.
And it was more real than anything.
