"No matter how far apart we may be, we'll always be a family."
Slenderman smiled at his daughter's careful, but truthful choice of words.
"I told you, as a child, before I left, that I would find my way back home, did I not?" Hayley asked, a playful smile spreading across her face.

Flashback

"Daddy... do I have to go?" The young voice of Hayley asked, tugging on her father's blazer.
He crouched to her height, and caressed her cheek with his fingers, tears building up in his nonexistent eyes.

"I'm sorry, Hayley. But it's the only way that I can keep you safe." He said softly, embracing the young girl.
"But why do I have to go, and the others don't? I don't understand, daddy..." The little girl spoke again.

"You will know, soon. Please, Hayley, be a good girl." Past Slenderman said quietly.

"Can I say bye to bubby and sissy, before I go?" Little Hayley asked and he sighed.
"I'm afraid not..."

The tears finally spilled from the little girl's eyes, as she clutched her father's jacket, for dear life.
"I'll find my way back home, daddy. I promise."

End of flashback.

Like she had done when she was a child, Hayley clutched her father's blazer tightly, as hot tears streamed down her face.
Slenderman embraced the crying child, and Hayley felt a hand on her shoulder.
"It's okay, baby sis. You're safe now." Slender boy whispered to her and she hugged her family.

"There's something.... that I need to show all of you..." Hayley said quietly.
She slid into the open space, as she felt a different kind of magic, flow through her.

She felt her hands heat up, and she slowly looked down at them, seeing a red energy ball in each one.

Her father chuckled, wrapping an arm around her.
"You definitely got mum's powers." Slender boy said with a smirk.
"Careful, you don't wanna hurt yourself." Amalia said teasingly.
"No..." Hayley said darkly.
"It's you, who should be careful."
The energy balls flew, hitting Amalia in the chest.
"Ahh!" Amalia screamed as she fell to her knees.
"HAYLEY, WHAT THE FUCK?!" Trenderman yelled.
"I did warn her." Hayley said with a shrug.
"Why would you hurt me?!" Amalia squealed.
"Hmm. Let me think about that. Because you're literally the biggest cow, I have ever had the misfortune to meet." Hayley said with a smirk.
"At least my family didn't abandon me." Amalia said, her own smirk spreading across her face.
That was the last straw.
Hayley lunged at her, but Slender boy's tentacles, carefully wrapped around her waist.
"Calm down, baby sis. She's not staying."
"Actually... she is." Trenderman said.
"It's not your mansion, Trenderman. Therefore, you don't dictate who stays here and who doesn't."

They could hear distant voices.
"Jeff... aren't you dating Hayley...?" A voice asked.
"Meh. I'm only playing with her. She's heartless, she only cares about herself." Jeff said softly.
Hayley fled from the room, crying.
"Hayley, Wait!!" Splendorman cried, going after her.
She tripped and fell down the stairs, using her wings to land on the floor.
He hugged her tightly, as she cried.
"Why does everyone have something against me...." Hayley said quietly.
"It's gonna be okay..." Splendorman said softly.
"But... uncle Trendy hates me..."
"He's just blinded by love..."
Hayley gritted her teeth as her side started to hurt.
"I started to forget that I just fell down a flight of wooden stairs.." She said quietly.
"Are you okay?" Splendorman asked, gently picking her up.
"I'm fine... don't worry. I'm just gonna go kill Jeff." Hayley said with a smile.

She skipped to Jeff, knife in hand and smiled evilly.
"What was it that you always used to say to your victims, Jeffrey? Go to sleep? Maybe you should take your own advice." She said and stabbed him.
She skipped away, using her magic to get rid of the blood.

She saw Jason and hugged him tightly.
"Jason!" She said happily, receiving a soft chuckle from the toy maker.
"Hey, Hayley. How are you?"
"Despite just falling down a flight of the stairs, I'm okay thanks, how are you?"
"I'm okay thanks..." He smiled unconvincingly and Hayley hugged him tightly.

"Jason, what's wrong?" She asked.
"Nothing... I promise." He said returning the hug.
She buried her face in his shoulder, as tears began to silently fall.

Jason held her close to him, as she began to sob.
"What's wrong...?" He asked.
"I.... He.... Jeff....Cheated..." She spluttered out.
"He did WHAT?!?!"
He growled, and his toys reacted to his mood, coming down to their master.
"Relax, I dealt with him." She said with a smile.
Jason relaxed, slightly, and his eyes returned to the usual yellow hue.

He wiped her tears with his thumb, caressing her cheek with his finger, gently.
Hayley smiled, despite herself.
"Thanks, Jason." She said softly.
He smiled and one of his toys jumped into Hayley's arms.
"Hayley!" The toy cried, happily.
"Clockwork teddy, please don't jump up at people, like that." Jason said, pinching the bridge of his nose.
"Jason, it's okay." Hayley said with a small smile, stroking Clockwork Teddy's head gently.

Silence settled between the two, until Slenderman said;
"Has anyone seen Jeff?"
"Daddy, he had his warning. He acted, and he faced the consequences." Slendrina said, knowing what Hayley had done.
"He cheated." Hayley said plainly, glancing at her father.
"I'm presuming you dealt with him?"
"But, of course. It's only fitting. However, there's still one more person, who needs a little punishment. Isn't that right, Amalia?"
Amalia looked around, embarrassed as a sweat drop ran down her forehead.
"I.... ummm... well..." Amalia began. But it was too late.
Hayley charged at her, but her father wrapped his tentacles around her waist, and whispered softly in here ear.
"It's Trenderman's fight. He'll deal with her."
Hayley bit her lip as Trenderman approached Amalia.
"We're done. I'm fed up of you tearing my family apart. I've already hurt Hayley so many times, BECAUSE OF YOU!"
Hayley whimpered at the yelling, hugging her father tightly.
She looked away as Trenderman's tentacles stabbed into Amalia, breaking every rib, tearing every organ.
Hayley ran to her uncle and hugged him tightly.
"Even after everything that I put you through, you're still hugging me... why?" He asked and she smiled.
"Because no matter how fucked up the world may be, no matter what you do... I'll always love you."
