The day after, around 2pm they had a traditional Kaulu Kanuri event.
Kaulu is a traditional Kanuri wedding ceremony where the bride is presented to the groom's family. It's a vibrant and colorful event that involves music, dance, and feasting. During the ceremony, the bride is adorned in beautiful traditional attire and ornaments.
Adda A'i and Yasmine helped Amna into the traditional Kanuri red bridal dress called Chia amai and was adorned with solid heavy gold and silver jewelry over her wrists, ankles and neck. A slippery liquid was rubbed on hands of the groom and bride by family members and then gifts of cash and gold were placed in large basket for them.

A polo match took place in the evening at the other side of the Villa which had a field and stables.
Some of the groomsmen left early morning to resume work while some stayed behind for one more day. They had a polo match while the ladies watched them sipping their drinks and enjoying the juicy grilled steak, chicken, potatoes, corn and kebabs that were grilled not too far from them, throwing one or two banters here and there. The day was eventful, full of laughter and everyone getting to know each other more.

The next day, they all left for Abuja in the evening, after the bride and groom went around to greet Aslam's granduncles, aunties and relatives.
They arrived in Abuja at exactly 8:26pm and were driven directly to the family house from the airport to pay respect to Baba Shettima and then to their house. It was a lengthy week of celebration, everyone else went to their respective homes too.

"Omg babe, a ponddd!" Amna squealed as they walked into the house.
Aslam nodded with a smile.
"You didn't forget?" She once mentioned she wanted an indoor fish pond.
"I didn't." he smiled.
There were some butterfly koi fish, goldfish, neon tetra fish and siamese fighting fish.
She dipped her hand into the pond. "The 3 times I came here while furnishing the house, there was no pond."
"Your husband is an architect, have you forgotten?"
"Right! Architect!!!" she chuckled, "I love it!"
"I got a British longhair kitten too, it'll be delivered soon."
He didn't forget she had a Persian cat in her first and second years of uni before it died, she had a cat at home before she moved to uni too, he saw a lot of photos. And she always bought cat food to feed the stray cats in the streets of Istanbul.
"Cat mom and cat dad," she giggled. "delivered from where?"
"I got it online, from a pet store in Lagos."
"That's so thoughtful, babe. Can we get a tree tower and toys for it? I know a pet store in Jabi Lake Mall."
"Alright, that's no problem, I even got an automated cat food dispenser."
"Habaaa, why didn't you tell me all this?" She asked.
"How do you think surprises work?" He laughed. "Let's go freshen up yanzu dai, I am exhausted."
Amna noted the pieces of decor that she needed to rearrange then proceeded to the room that had her stuff to freshen up.
He helped her with her handbag and the laffaya she took off in the living room. "I'll take a quick shower too then we can pray." He walked out of the room, to give her space.
