We pulled up in a empty parking lot. He rolled down the windows & turn on the radio.
"He just got here & he already starting shit" He said pulling out two bigs bags of snacks.
"Exactly, how is he starting shit?"
"He's trying to take you away from me" He said opening a bag of gummy bears.
I rolled my eyes & opened my bag of chips "nobody's gonna take me away from you."
"Yeah, right" He said lighting up his blunt.
"Are you jealous?"
He tilted his head to the side "jealous?"
"Well are you?"
He scoffed & shook his head "ain't nobody jealous of that high heel wearing muthafucka."
I giggled "you are jealous."
"Your ridiculous Holli" He said.

He ignored me. I giggled again.

He looked at me. I placed my hand on his cheek.

He took out a little black box. He grabbed my right hand & held it dearly.
"I got this for you Holli" He said opening up the box.

He slide the ring on my finger. I stared at it in awe.
"Its a promise ring" He said softly.
"It must've cost a fortune."
"It was pretty expensive" He chuckled.

I sarcastically laughed & took a bite out of my donut. I trust Michael & that's all that matters.
