it's summer break now because they're working this out, dang it
y/n's pov
I walked to Shuichi's house. "Jeez, what is so important that he told me to walk to his house in the scorching heat?" I grumbled. Our relationship has gotten serious since 'the incident'. I've apologized many times for looking through his journal, but he always says it's fine and he couldn't bring himself to tell me so it's probably the best. I sighed as I hurried to his house. Once I made it, I rang the doorbell. Soon, he answered the door with a big smile on his face. "y/n! You made it!" "Can I hurry and go inside please? It's really hot." "Oh yeah, sorry." He moved out the way as I walked in. I heard the door close. "Alright, what's the big news?" "It's getting better!" I raised my eyebrow. "How can you tell?" "Sometimes when I get bored, I read through all my entries and it's not as bad like it normally is!" I smiled. "Well, that is good news, but why didn't you just text me that?" I asked. "I wanted to see your reaction." He played with his fingers. "B-but if I knew it was hot, I would've just texted you..." "No, it's fine. It was worth the walk." I smiled.
"Didn't I tell you? I told you we were gonna work this out." I kissed his cheek. He blushed. "Yeah..." He held my hand as I held it back. "Since I'm here, whatcha wanna do now?" "Um..." "Wanna watch a movie?" "Murder mystery?" "Sure." I said with a small smile. While Shuichi got the movie, I warmed up the popcorn. After the popcorn is done, I walked to the living room to see the movie is on and Shuichi has a blanket with him.
"No funny business while we're sharing the blanket, ok?"
"I wasn't planning on doing anything suspicious anyway. Now, pass the popcorn!" Shuichi happily said. I rolled my eyes as I passed him the popcorn. We held hands throughout the whole movie.
I'm glad we were able to work this out.

i was actually gonna discontinue this story but you guys loved it so much and i know the pain of a good story being discontinued and i just couldn't do that to y'all! so thanks for the readers who've been here since the beginning. it was fun!
