Alfred yawned as he stretched, getting up from his seating. The world meeting wasn't very eventful, ending with everyone being yelled at by Germany to be quiet, but it resulting in even more yelling. He laughed as he put his arm around his twins shoulder, a bright grin on his face."Hey mattie, bro! Want to walk around L.A for a bit? I know this great coffee shop-". He got interrupted by Mathew pushing his arm off of his shoulder, his grin not wavering.
Mathew rolled his eyes, giving a nervous grin to his twin. "Sorry Al, I already have plans, but I can come next time.". Alfred's smile faltered for a second, but reappeared before anybody noticed. "That's okay dude! I'll just ask someone else, talk to you later bro!".
His twin nodded, returning to his conversation with Francis. Alfred walked around asking if anyone wanted to come, ignoring the annoying looks and rude comments thrown towards him. And to his luck, everybody already had plans or had paperwork to do.He put his jacket on, giving out a small sigh. His smile didn't falter as he put his earbuds in, pushing up his glasses. He walks out, deciding to take the bus into the city. If they didn't want to go, it doesn't mean he can't! He stepped onto the bus, sitting down at an empty seat.
Alfred took this time to think, why in the world does everybody treat him like that? He does his best to make sure that everybody has a smile on their face, he's the hero for God's sake! But if he's the hero..Why does everybody treat him like he's the villain?
He got snapped out of his thoughts when the driver announced his stop, taking an earbud out. He bid the driver farewell as he stepped off of the bus, adjusting his jacket. He walked down the crowded street, doing his best to not run into the people rushing his way. He was going to the cafe he wanted to take his brother to, he was in the mood for some coffee
He brushed his blonde hair out of his face as he reached the cafe window, smile dropping at what he saw. Mathew was there, along with a few others he had invited. Francis, Arthur, hell even Gilbert was there! His best friend! So this was why he didn't want to come? Because he wanted to go with the whole family but him?
Alfred held back his tears, and put his face in his hands for a second. He gave a deep breath, then sighed. He rubbed his eyes, putting on a heroic smile. He could handle this, he was the hero after all! He wiped any hint of discomfort off of his face, then opened the cafe door.
He walked in, speedwalking past them. He made eye contact with Francis, his grin growing wider. Francis 's eyes widened, as his smile grew dim. Mathew saw this, and looked where his eyes were directed at, having the same reaction as his big brother.
Alfred ignored their stares, ordering a coffee. He got his coffee, sitting down at a table near his brothers. He put his earbud back in, taking a sip of his coffee. He finished his coffee, throwing away the cup. He took his earbuds out, and put them in his coat pocket. He looked back at the table and waved, keeping the heroic smile on his face. He sighed as he walked out, the door closing behind him. He walked down the street, sighing. He began to speed up his pace the more he thought about it, trying to wrap his mind around the thought of being excluded.
He was the hero, he protected them in their times of need, what more could they want from him? He did his paperwork, faught in their wars, and backed them up when they needed it. What more would they need?
Sure a lot of people hated him, but that's because he's fought them! And if he's being honest, hes fought almost everybody! Maybe he was overthinking this. He doesn't annoy them that much, right?
As he thought about it more, the more the negative thoughts began to spiral
'Why would they do that?' He thought. More thoughts like this began to appear, each one getting more anxious than the last. 'I'm their little brother, why would they leave me out?','Am I really that obnoxious?', 'Do they really think I'm that dumb?'.
Alfred got snapped out of his thoughts when he walked into someone.
"Sorry dude, I wasn't paying attention to where I was going, want some help?". He helped the woman up, as she looked up at him in disbelief. The man next to her gave him the same look, with a bit of sadness in his eyes.

"...Joseph, is that really you?"
