At night I lay in bed. Gazing up at the ceiling and counting the specks on the roof. I feel so lonely at times. That's the way it's been for as long as I could remember. Moving around from place to place with no friends, makes it a very solace life.
    Then I think about the adventures that I've had since moving here. Getting to know the Merry Thieves. Each of them is so unique to the group. Matthew and I have become close. I know how he feels for Lucie. It's obvious in the way he looks at her. But alas she doesn't return those feelings for him. That's something that he and I have in common I suppose. We make quite the pair don't we? Two people utterly and irrevocably in love with people who don't feel the same way.
The thought makes her smile. Matthew was fun, kind-hearted, loyal, and funny. Not to mention handsome. He did have his flaws though. One day she would ask him why he chooses not to remain sober.
Hopefully one day they would find love...
