Now with less money and time, you decided to just run to the nearest convenience store to get the next best thing. Your favorite, ramen.

You are in the noodle section of the store and was looking for the brand you like. You thought your luck has finally turned when you found the last cup perched on the shelf, as if waiting for you. Feeling blessed, you reached your hand to get it, but suddenly felt a warm, stronger hand grabbed yours.

You looked to your side and saw the owner of the said hand, busy scrolling through his phone with his other hand. He stopped what he was doing and slowly turned towards you.

That's when he realized he was holding your hand and he quickly dropped it.

"Oh my God! Why are you holding my hand?" he asked, practically screaming and his pitch is higher than most people you know.

"Excuse me???!!" you yelled back, couldn't believe what he just accused you of.

"Hey lady! I'm just here to pick up my ramen and then suddenly you grabbed my hand."

"How dare you mister!" you huffed.

"Jin! My name is Jin!" he interrupted.

"What? Whatever!... I was the one who was here FIRST to buy the ramen and then YOU grabbed my hand!" you defended.

He now looked like a scolded puppy to hear you raise your voice at him and he suddenly burst into an embarrassment grin. He raised on of his hands to the back of his head and scratched it.

"Did I? I'm sorry." he looked flustered. "I was just busy checking something on my phone, I may not have noticed."

After hearing his explanation and seeing his expression, you somehow calmed down, and is now feeling sorry for raising your voice at him.

"But this is really my ramen. You see?" pointing at the brand of the ramen 'Jin Ramen' "... it's mine."

You suddenly burst into laugh when you realized how weird but cute this guy is that you decided to give up and just let him have the damn ramen.

But seeing you smile, he thought he needed at least to do something for you.

"How about in exchange for this ramen, you take a pick of anything you like to eat here, and I'll pay for it?" he asked.

You thought for a second. It sounded like a fair trade, and you are running out of time to argue with him anyway.

"Okay, deal." you agreed.

"Great!" he rejoiced.

You settled for a hotdog sandwich in exchange for the ramen and you are now on the counter with him to pay for the food. He pulled out his wallet and opened it. He froze, and like earlier, slowly turned towards you. You were confused at first and then saw him bow down on a 90-degree angle.

"Please forgive me!" he said.

You figured out what happened and you let out a sigh.

Just my luck.

He only had money for his ramen and you have no choice but to pay for your own sandwich. As you took your sandwich from the counter, you quickly walked out of the convenience store to head back to the cafe.

After a block away from the store, you were surprised to see that Jin followed you and grabbed your wrist flinging you to face him.

"Hey, I'm really sorry. I really did not know I did not bring enough money."

Still feeling exhausted and hungry, you really don't have enough strength to argue.

"It's okay. Don't worry about it." you weakly said.

"I want to make it up to you, miss..." he looked at your name tag, "...Y/N."

He gave you a smile and handed you a receipt.

"I'll wait for you there." he winked at you and blew a small kiss which made you grin. Then he ran to the opposite direction of the store and disappeared from the corner.

You looked over the receipt and found something written at the back.
