I remember the times when we used to play outside the house,
Screaming and laughing as we run after each other.
Fighting with each other over a toy,
To now awkwardly saying "Hi".
Holding hands as we got scared of the dark,
To now standing far apart.
Laughing at each other,
To now only looking away.
I stood near your school bus, to bid you goodbye,
In return you laughed at my hair.
Still smiling at those old memories,
I wipe my tears away.
And as we grew up and apart...
Now I only smile with tears in my eyes,
Reminiscing the past...
