The Fire Dragon Kingdom's Heir

Introduction:

I am the heir to the throne of the strongest kingdom the Dragon Land has known. I am the heir to the Fire Dragon Kingdom.

Dragon Land is high above the clouds where not even airplanes can reach. Ever wonder what happen to those shuttles you human send and crash? We burn them of course to stay hidden to human eyes. Being the humans you are, you will have a scientific explanation as to why that happened. But in our world, we only believe in ourselves. Dragon land is not like the countries you humans live in. It is divided into the four elements: Water, Earth, Fire, and Air. And obviously the dragon of that element, lives in their own perspective land.

Being a dragon has it's advantages too which also differs from which element you belong too. 

Water Dragons can control water obviously and you can breathe underwater. Not only water but any kinds of liquids. They also have an attack where a large amount of water comes from their mouth.  Water dragons are experts in potions and herbs and anything like poison and such won't affect them. All the other elements buy their potions here.  All kinds of water animals love them too. But it's sad to think that they feed on them.

Earth Dragons can control anything earthly related. Like wood and soil and rocks and so on. Earth dragons are specialized in fertility. They can make any kind of plants grow healthy and fertile. They can also make dead plants back to life. They have a skill in healing magic too. They are also great in taking care of any other living things on the planet. All the elements either hire their wet nurses, maids, and healers here. They feed on plants and never eat meat. Earthquakes usually happen when a dragon of this element fights another dragon.

Air dragons can control the wind elements. They can make the air go in whichever speed they want it to go. The cause of typhoons the humans experience are usually when a dragon of the air element fights with a dragon of the water element. Air dragons are experts on long range attacks although their close rage fighting skills are not so good and they also stand a great significance to humans since they do their best to keep balance on all the elements of air. Other elements hire these dragons for assassinations. They feed on clouds.

Fire dragons can control the fire element. They can make the slightest to the greatest flames in the world. Fire dragons are experts in war since we are good on both close a long rage attacks. We can win any battle we fight. We also have the ability to breathe fire. That is why some of the other elemental dragons hire us as mercenaries to fight for them. Of course in a very high price. And unlike the rest, we also have skills in potions and healing magic. That is why we are considered the strongest kingdom among the others.  

The only things we dragons have in common are the fact that we can be invisible to the human eyes whenever we want to even when we are in our human forms and we are immortal and never aging. Of course fellow dragons will be able to see us even if they too are in human form. The only way for a human to know you are invisible at the moment is if you have formed a strong bond with them.

To distinguish whether they are human or a dragon in human form is when you touch them and you feel this deep sensation inside of you. 

I live in this kind of world. In a world where women are the rulers of the empire. I live in a kingdom where you don't have a choice. But I don't want to live my life as a caged bird. I want to be free.

So I ran away. I crept outside when night came and I was sure no one was paying attention. I flew down to human land invisible. I was kept too much inside so I don't have enough control of my flying, so I was about to crash.

I used my fire breath to soften my crash. I crashed in a field where there are no houses nor people in sight. Only grass and some flowers. Due to the fire I created, I was in the middle of a circle of the burned grass. There was a circle of small flames around me but I knew it would be gone soon.

Slowly, I took in my human form. Dragons' human forms are more beautiful than that of the real humans'.Whenever we turn from dragon to human we always end up naked so we make sure to do it where no one can see us. 

I went unconscious after several moments.
